Roxanne + Jess’s Palm Springs wedding at the stylish and eclectic Villa Royale Hotel was part of a glamorous-yet-laid-back weekend designed to help their guests—many of whom traveled to sunny SoCal for the event—set aside their everyday lives for a few days and celebrate together.
The couple teamed up with planners from Feathered Arrow to conjure the nostalgia of Hollywood in the early 20th century with lots of elegant and opulent house party vibes. Warm and bright florals added tons of romance and countless carefully curated details made this a vintage glam desert wedding feel cohesive and immersive. And photographers from Parallel33 Photography snapped so many gorgeous pics!!
Roxanne + Jess’s save the dates (with a pic taken in front of their wedding venue Villa Royale’s unmistakable tiled walls!) were created by Lovely Bones Paperie. And those super colorful invitations were the work of Swell Press!

Florals for the event were done by Sparks & Sand. These vibrant colors brought so much life to this midwinter wedding.
Roxanne had visited a few bridal boutiques already and tried on a bunch of fit and flare lacy or crepe gowns. One day, though, she came a cross The White Flower on Instagram and decided to head in on a whim by herself. She tried on this gorgeous Élysée wedding gown that day and couldn’t keep from crying when she saw herself in the mirror, so she just knew it was the one. She FaceTimed her bridesmaids to show them, and the rest was history!! We’re in love with that classic off the shoulder silhouette. A perfect fit for the Old Hollywood vibe of Roxanne + Jess’s day.

Our Advice To Those Planning Now Stay true to the vision, vibe and experience that you want to achieve or have for the day. Everything about weddings is so beautiful. It can so often feel like there is no wrong feeling, it’s easy to get distracted by that. Make that vision board at the beginning and have someone help remind you to refer back to that.
We are HUGE fans of a charcuterie cup.

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding Our first dance! We had been working on it for months. It had been a really nice way to stop and connect and have fun leading up to the wedding. And a really tangible way to feel progress!
Day of, we were both so nervous right until we got to the dance floor. And just boogied away. It was such a fun and energetic way to start the true party/celebration part of the day; and it set the perfect tone for the rest of the evening.
Roxanne’s reception look was made up of a shimmery skirt by Liz Martinez and a boatneck top by Catherine Deane. Look through our rundown of the best two-piece wedding dresses and bridal separates if a second look like Roxanne’s is sounding good to you!
