Just because you’re getting married surrounded by nature doesn’t mean your wedding has to be rustic.
Sophia + Rich embraced all things classic and elegant for their outdoor wedding in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. Full of happy memories of ski trips with Rich’s family in the area, the two tied the knot at Toad Hill Farm on a crisp September day. Planner Sorrell Downing made sure every sophisticated detail shined, and the gorgeous scenery was a perfect backdrop.
And thanks to Avonné Photography we get to take a peek at this stunning, love-filled day.

Mountainside Ceremony

Gorgeous flowers and greenery by EH Floral paired with the simplicity of that birch tree altar. Perfection.

Our Advice To Those Planning Now We did a lot of planning and then had to reschedule due to Covid. I think after having gone through the pandemic, we really focused on what matters and that was having our people all together celebrating love

Lots of happy tears.

Sophisticated Style

We love this B&W wedding party look!

Warm tones like caramel and champagne in EH Floral‘s color palette highlight the elegant simplicity of Sophia + Rich’s monochrome vibe.

Who says only the bride can wear white? Sometimes matching is more fun.

Sophia’s clean and classic strapless dress brought refined glamour to the countryside.

The lace edging on this cathedral-length veil. So elegant.

The groom’s super-sharp white tux jacket with black details added sophistication to the natural setting.

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding Our favorite memory would be the ceremony. It was a beautiful setting with all of our people. We shed a lot of happy tears, it was a very special moment. Another highlight would be the dancing, everyone seemed to love Sophia’s first dance with her mom.

So happy for you, Sophia + Rich! GWS is wishing you all the best!!
