Oh those halcyon summer days… and nights. Capturing that feeling, along with the way the colors of the sunset melt together, designer Andrew Evans + planner Wild Heart Events created this sweet summertime bliss! First things first, they wanted to keep everything al fresco, and the outdoor setting of Camarillo Ranch made for the perfect summer soirée.
Emily, over at Anna Delores Photography tells us: Many of our boho brides want to be thoughtful about their details without breaking the bank, so we took this into consideration with fun DIY menus, a summery bridal dress off the sale rack at Anthropologie, and paletas from The Wild Posy instead of wedding cake! Playing with all the fun hues that summer evokes, the team crafted a sort palette of mauve, mustard, and rose, along with some creamy neutrals, for good measure. On top of that, we’re going to see both the bride wearing two different styles + the tablescape done in two different ways.
Let’s head to the backyard bash, shall we?
How pretty are those late summer hues captured in the invitation by Nicety Studio?
The Outfits
Isn’t that Anthropologie dress the prettiest? The sweetest sale rack find!
Can we talk about this collection of posies for a minute? Going Steady Studios packed a punch of color with this bouquet. How darling are those dahlias + all that texture?!
Keeping things light for summer, the groom donned a light blue Ted Baker suit with a pair of rockin’ boots. Pretty dapper, don’t you think?
So PRETTY!
The Poppin’ Color Blocked Tablescape
Mustard, mauve, cream and a rosy hue — aren’t these La Tavola swatches GORGE together?! To add a luxe touch to the table, the team arranged an assortment of gold + pink vases from Party Pleasers.
We are loving that cute Bon Appétit menu by Yellow Heart Art!
The subdued hues paired well with bright pops from the florals, as well as the light aqua plates. So fresh and cool, don’t you think?
The Golden Geometric Tablescape
But they didn’t stop there! For those that want to stick to a more traditional table setting with a twist, peep this one with the geometric runner!
The way the runner is complemented by Trailer Trish’s gold chairs is so good, right?

Create your own al fresco lounge with a gorgeous couch + tons of florals. Even though they took the party outdoors, this vignette was made to look very luxe with the accents of velvet and gold.
The Refreshing Treats
Fun Fact: Paleta means small stick in Spanish — which is where the Mexican ice pops get their name from.
The Wild Posy crafted these refreshing delights. Is your mouth watering? Us too…
Rosé + paleta — now that’s a winning combo in our book! Have you seen our summer cocktail recipes, particularly the one using rosé? Peep it here!
Cheers to a never-ending summer! A huge thank you to the creative geniuses behind this editorial! Seriously can’t get over how gorgeous this color palette is.
