What does a bride do when they love the minimalist aesthetic yet can’t help but want…more? This. Inspiration. Is. IT! If you consider yourself a pearlcore connoisseur and love the minimalist vibes but with the extra kick of glam, you’ve found your home! ‘More is more’ was the motto when The Featherette and Perfect Plan dreamed up this incredible shoot. You may be asking yourself, “More?! Doesn’t that directly contradict minimalism?”. Only if you want it to, my friend. Trust us – this wedding is all about the best of both worlds. And yes, the two can coexist! All you need is a little bit of pearls, and a whole lotta creativity.
Step one: the right venue. If you wanna pull off a creative, extravagant wedding, you need to have a blank slate. Loftstudio14c is the perfect choice for minimalist and full glam couples alike! At the end of the day, venues are what you make them. And in this case, a pearl-drenched dream was just within reach.
Step two: the dream team. Besides our wonderful event designers and planners, there are other people behind the scenes creating this magic! A few of these folks were the talented florist, Hochzeitsbouquetterie, and photographer, Vicky Baumann. Together – this team made the pearlcore wedding of our (and presumably, your) dreams.
Your ceremony space says a lot about your personality. Are you emotive? Bold? Creative? This ceremony space screams luxury. The lush abundance of florals and trendy neutral wishbone chairs signal that this is a couple that loves the finer things in life and isn’t afraid to show it.
Another symbol of that luxury? A fantastical bouquet of orchids!
Let’s talk DRAMA! This bridal look is not for the faint of heart – but boy, does it pack a punch. First, the dress. The dreamy layers of chiffon add an incredibly romantic touch. But hey, that doesn’t mean things can’t get a lil’ sexy with that sky-high slit!
Of course, we can’t forget the bling. After all, that’s what this is all about! Here our bride is dripping in layers and layers of sumptuous pearls. Sure, one necklace is fine. But why not have 3, 5, or even 8? Whether you’re looking to showcase them in your hair, a necklace, or even wedding gloves, the versatility of pearls proves the trend is here to stay.
Let in the Guests
So, your amazing wedding attire is planned. But, you gotta let your guests know what to expect! A little teaser goes a long way. There’s no better way to give your guests a hint about your wedding’s aesthetic than your stationery. These flawless invitations by Kristina Höfler did just the trick (without giving away the pearl twist)!
And now, the magical day has arrived. Your wedding reception has come to fruition. If you thought this would over the top because of the attire, you were wrong!
Just like the bride’s necklaces, it all about the layers. Expertly gathered linens create the absolutely dreamiest effect.
Pearls aren’t only for the bride. In keeping with the theme, guests’ place settings were adorned with a white seashell and a single pearl.
Let’s not forget the cake! This two-tiered wonder is a minimalist, pearl-loving bride’s dream. We’re obsessed with the delicate detailing!
All About the Couple
Finally, we gotta talk about the happy couple! You’ve had the wedding of your dreams, and now it’s time to soak it all in.
This bride was serving incomparable looks.
Details, details, details! The pearls didn’t end at the necklace and hairpiece. The buttons down the back and hair tie were simply immaculate!
A flirty exchange always eases the wedding day jitters!
To end the night, a romantic dance will do just the trick. Hold your honey close and soak in the vibes of your amazing day!
We hope you’ve loved this pearl-covered wedding as much as we have! If pearlcore isn’t your thing, don’t fret! We’ve got content for every spouse-to-be, whether you’d rather throw it back to the 60s or elope in a colorful springtime ceremony. No matter your aesthetic, we’re so happy you’re here!
