Bride Morgan Azurdia is the owner of MO&CO Custom Events, and she officially launched her business last May. Not only was she able to spread her wings and plan the most fun events for the best clients, but she was also able to plan her own special day!
“I am not a wedding planner, but am all about the details – I wanted to stray away from the “cookie cutter wedding” and bring to life a beautiful, yet unique, wedding aesthetic that focused on the details. Inspired by LoveShackFancy and English + French gardens, we designed and produced a floral-filled garden ceremony right in the heart of Dallas.”

The bride shares her journey of falling in love with her custom wedding gown by Watters!
“It was such an amazing experience getting to customize a dress with my friends at Watters! I definitely had a vision of what I wanted the dress to look like, so my friend Sydney pulled different dresses that could have potentially brought my vision to life. I do remember there being one dress she pulled and I just wasn’t super into it, so of course I tried it on last. I am sure you already know the cliché ending to this story, but yes, that was the dress I fell in love with! The floral appliqués were stunning, I loved how it was blush in color, rather than white, with touches of sage green (again, trying to stray away from the cookie cutter wedding here!), and I love puffy sleeves so we made removable sleeves that matched the dress. It was seriously PERFECT!”
By now you know that first looks aren’t just for the bride and groom! Morgan’s bridal party was beaming with excitement to see her in her gown for the first time!
These girls didn’t just understand the assignment… they absolutely nailed it!!

A Fairytale Moment
The bride wanted to tell a cohesive story from when guests first received their save the dates in the mail filled with dried lavender, to the lattice-designed invitation a few months later, to a floral-filled arch at the entrance to the ceremony, to her floral dress / mix matched bridesmaid’s dresses, and to all the details at the reception.
Inspired by her favorite brand, LoveShackFancy, the creative team designed and produced a floral filled English/French style garden ceremony right in the heart of Dallas.
Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas Texas was the perfect venue to host this floral fairytale wedding!
Here Comes the Bride
Sealed the deal with a kiss… these two are officially husband and wife!
Our Favorite Memory
I will never forget the moment walking down the aisle and seeing both my husband's face and my vision come to life. The ceremony aesthetic was even more perfect than I imagined - we didn't do a first look so I was only able to view the setup from our suite balcony throughout the day...being a planner it was so hard for me to stay away and be surprised! My heart was so full walking through the ceremony doors, and being able to see all of our favorite people from all over the world in one place was truly an unforgettable experience.
“We chose to get married in Dallas because we wanted some of the closest people + animals in our lives to be there to celebrate with us – both sets of grandparents who are still with us from both sides of our family as well as our two golden retrievers, Emma + Beasley (they may have stolen the show during our ceremony!).
It was so special to have everyone we love so much there and it will be a day we will never forget and cherish forever!”
After the Ceremony
These guests understood the assignment as well!
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails + passed bites around the mansion’s stunning pool (while the team flipped the ceremony space to the reception design), and then guests entered back into the tent and danced the night away under the stars.
Talk about a dream… this reception looks like it was straight out of a movie!
Morgan + Austin had 3 custom bistro food stations with their favorite foods, all containing branded packaging. Chicken Teriyaki & Fried Rice + Beef Short Rib & Gnocchi were two of the delicious options!
What other way to celebrate besides cake and champagne?!
“The night didn’t stop at the reception as we love a late night club night! As we did our “exit” and entered our getaway car, a surprise branded drum line was revealed that guided all guests down the street, up the valet driveway, and through the hotel lobby into the after party – “Club Azurdia”.”
The After Party
Morgan + Austin truly know how to throw a party! And we are loving this outfit change into a bridal jumpsuit… perfect for dancing the night away!!
Our Advice
BE CREATIVE! This is such a special day to express your style / ideas to your family and friends and no one else's opinion matters- this is your memorable day! I think of events as more than just a party—they’re glimmers in time that speak to the uniqueness of each person, their vision, and the memories they wish to make. I love creating unforgettable moments and sometimes, these are stemmed from the smallest of details!
The couple reiterates: It is ok to be indecisive – I am sure an average wedding planner reading this would not say the same, but it is your one day to have everything exactly the way you want it. Take your time making decisions (when there is time to do so ), ask for options, and go with your gut! Yes, I am a planner, but I did add a few fun elements last minute and it was all worth it!
The couple couldn’t have brought to life the most perfect day without their incredible vendor team – Morgan hired the ones she trust the most and they beyond exceeded her expectations!
