It’s a big weekend, folks! Between the Super Bowl and Valentine’s Day we’ll be thoroughly enjoying all the salty snacks, chocolate, and treat-yourself moments. We have a few ideas below—but first, a rewind! This week on GWS we peeked into this whimsical elopement in Costa Rica, we learned that you can DIY a flower press backdrop, took a step inside this minimal Texas wedding, and continued our series on best bridesmaids dress by color with champagne dresses.

Here are a few things our editors are loving lately:

From Jen:

Did you catch this reel we shared?! If you love rom-coms, I think you’ll really enjoy the new Jennifer Lopez film, Marry Me (I saw an advance screening with my family a few weeks ago and we all loved it! My girls loved all the music and are now big J Lo fans!) – it’s out this weekend and perfect for the Valentine’s Day weekend!

Love the idea of a cocktail, but sometimes would prefer not having alcohol? I’m a huge fan of these drinks. Discovered them during Dry January, but continuing to drink in Feb!

I can’t stop collecting mugs!

Just bought these sneakers and can’t wait for them to arrive! (plus they are 20% off this weekend!)

Sheena:

Lately, my husband and I have been completely and totally obsessed with watching 1883, and we basically live for the new episode every Sunday, so we can experience all the adventure.

And this idea pin for the creamiest, most delish mac and cheese is the perfect thing to pair with our cozy Sunday evenings on the couch. Plate your mac with these adorable stackable side bowls and you’re golden. The perfect end to the weekend.

From Diana:

I’ve been on a journey to become more financially literate, and a few weeks ago I asked my friends to recommend me financial podcasts made by women and for women. The one recommendation I got over and over again was Financial Feminist! It was a really great starting point for me and I’m excited to dive into it even more.

Do you like cheese and wine? I’ll be pretty shocked if you say no! My local cheese shop organizes virtual classes to learn about cheese and wine pairings, and I plan on trying one this weekend. Try reaching out to cheese shops in your neighborhood to see what they may have to offer!

From Katie:

I recently bought these twist taper candles from Free People as a gift and now I need them for myself. Comes in a few other colors!

Full-blown adult here just finding out that makeup expires sometimes as soon as 6 months? 12 months? Wow. Immediately threw out an eyeshadow palette I’ve had for…more time than I want to admit. Anyways, bought more of my favorite brow gel from Target for $7.99 because it had been a while.

My new hobby may be creating terrariums? I snagged this greenhouse-looking one and can’t wait to fill it with some cute tropical plants this weekend!

From Britt:

We moved from LA to TX almost 2 years ago and I was seriously missing one of our favorite restaurants. I had no idea they have a seriously beautiful cookbook! So this week, we feasted on the best hummus and pita ever! (Perfect for Valentine’s dinner!)

This week on our team call we chatted about phone charms…and I kinda love them! This one is really fun! OR maybe I’ll make my own?

‘Tis the chocolate season! This is my favorite chocolate brand and it’s 100% slave-free. (Yikes, did you know the chocolate industry is a little sus?)

Have a great weekend!
