Intimate + Minimalistic Bohemian Wedding in the Countryside of Colorado

Danielle + Logan wanted a relaxing day in Colorado’s countryside to celebrate their marriage. To ensure their day allowed them to shine and soak it all in, they opted to surround themselves with just their parents + siblings — making it intimate and easy. As the two of them are self-proclaimed minimalists, they LOVED that nature could serve as the main décor. To complement the scenery, they designed a neutral color palette with touches of navy and metallic, for a modern touch.

THAT DRESS. Lace crochet by Grace Loves Lace that flows in the wind. Have you ever seen such a captivating gown?

All the florals by Flora By Nora were creamy + white. Textured greenery + astilbe rounded it out, for good measure. :)

The Vows in the Countryside

D+L built their ceremony arch together, which is such a sweet sentiment and symbol to start off their marriage.

Follow the Fox, beautifully learned the “Sea of Love” by Cat Power for walking down the aisle, and “The Wedding Song” by Angus and Julia Stone for closing the ceremony and were a complete joy to work with. Booking live music was a last minute decision and I can’t imagine our day without them — I highly suggest booking live music for future brides.

The Boho Tablescape

To let the surrounding scenery shine, D+L opted for ghost chairs and macramé accents by Mosshounddesigns.

Because we had only nine guests, I decided to purchase our glassware, napkins, cake stand, etc. Each guest was able to keep their wood laser cut name we used as place settings as a keepsake from the day.

How spectacular is this marble + gold leaf drip cake from Sam Keith Cakes?

One of our most special pieces was the engraved cake knife we used… it was used at my grandparents, as well as my parents wedding, and now a part of our day, too.

Nothing like a sweet + intimate dinner with your family to celebrate the special day!
