Whether you’re hosting a Thanksgiving dinner at your home or an early Friendsgiving, it’s right around the corner, folks! Wanting to steer away from the typical Thanksgiving spreads and cornucopias, Alexis at The Shift Creative went a more boho meets rustic route at The Andra Dwelling. Playing with pampas grass, luxe gold accents, blush hues, and some textured + dried florals, this is one spread you’ll want to recreate (possibly year-round!).
Alexis shares: Thanksgiving is all about warmth, so we created a palette that exuded that warmth with a twist of femininity and elegance.
Let’s peruse their spread in the photos snapped by Jessica Thomas + get the Friendsgiving inspiration flowing!
The Tablescape
Yellow pears make the perfect addition to any tablescape. And, if you’re wanting to add an escort card or something of the sort—we’ve seen hosts do calligraphy of pears, pumpkins, or any kind of squash to not only add a little *something extra* to the table, but also serve as a placeholder!
The Florals + Décor
You may have noticed the presence of pampas grass lately…we certainly have! Pampas grass is a great way to add texture and round out a palette like this, because of its neutral shade.
We ADORE how the florist, Katie of The Flower Stand, incorporated blush roses and vibrant orchids into the mix.
Isn’t this the prettiest tablescape with pieces from Hostess Haven?

The Delectable Bites
Alexis shares: We stayed traditional when it came to the grub, but two words made our hearts skip and kept our pants buttoned: mini pies. I mean, I think we can all agree that anything in miniature form will always be way cuter, and it’s especially true in this case!
How darling are these bites from I Like Pie?! Such a fun idea!
We hope that this editorial leaves you inspired to set a different type of table this year! Cheers!
