Say halo to the newest passion project from creative forces Haus of Gravity and Emilie Faith Photography, Hark the Herald Angels Slay. On a chilly winter day, atop a rolling hill at Mayfair Farm – a historic New Hampshire wedding venue – this ethereal series was brought to life!
This angelic, festive angel shoot is a mix of holiday spirit and editorial vibes. With the models dressed as angels in champagne dresses, fluffy heels, and wings – and this all shot in under an hour (in less than 40 degree weather!! ❄️ ) the creative team aimed to keep things soft and flowing…and clearly they nailed it! We hope you enjoy this ethereal, whimsical piece before we head into the holiday weekend!
A Dreamy Christmas Moment
A red-headed BEAUTY!
Each angelic angel was dressed to the heavens – wearing matching attire from head to toe. The gorgeous beige-colored silk midi dress accentuated each female’s beauty in a timeless, simple way.
The minimalist clear heels with feather accents, wings, and rhinestone gloves emphasized the dainty, almost eerie nature of the editorial project.
Setting the Outdoor Stage
The outdoor set was designed prior to the model’s arrival and kept rather simple in nature. A light pink Christmas tree, adorned with an array of ornaments, sparkled against the sun’s glow.
If you look closely at the tree, a few special cherub ornaments delicately hang from the tree’s limbs!
Photographer Emilie shares: “My shooting style for this project was an editorial and storytelling mix. I wanted to showcase the feeling of these five angels coming together to decorate a beautiful tree in the middle of nowhere – unearthing the message that a barren landscape, asleep for the winter, can easily be brought back to life when heavenly souls work their magic, as one.”
