If you happen to remember this gorgeous bachelorette party inspiration we shared in September, then you’ve already had a sneak peek into how the To Dye For Collection, a new hand-dyed napkin rental line from borrowed BLU + GATHER Events, came to be! Following their feature on GWS, the ladies were inundated with inquiries to rent the beautiful indigo napkins they created just for the shoot. They share, We immediately had an A-HA moment. Why DON’T we offer them for rent? In a bunch of colors? That would look good on every table? Besides, our clients are always asking us for custom-made, artisanal pieces that they can’t get at the traditional rental outlets. And just like that our new idea was born!
Let’s have a look at the collection, which Gary Ashley of The Wedding Artists Collective captured beautifully in this rad, ombre-meets-colorblock-inspired editorial…
The collection is debuting with 5 gorgeous colors: Bordeaux, Terra Cotta, Blush, Moss and Indigo. Each piece of textural cotton gauze is first cut and then hand-dyed so that no two are exactly alike. The raw edges add further distinction to each piece and the dye technique provides a beautifully subtle range of color in each mini collection. The napkins are cut to be slightly smaller than a standard dinner napkin, making them feel delicate and special.
The artisanal line is ultra-versatile and works just as well on an ornate formal table as it does on a casual bohemian spread.
The stunning floral arrangements from this shoot were designed by GATHER’s new in-house floral expert, Inessa Nichols for GATHER Events. We love the fall feel to this autumnal-hued vignette!
The napkins can be rented one color at a time or mixed and matched for a more eclectic look. They blend beautifully with borrowed BLU’s diverse collection of table top rental items and can work well on any table setting.
If you don’t live California near borrowed BLU + GATHER Events, don’t fret! The ladies can ship anywhere in the U.S. and are accepting orders now! It’s not too late to get your holiday orders in – how pretty would these bad boys look on a Thanksgiving or Christmas tablescape? – so reach out here to start the ordering process!
