We all know there are so many fun parts of celebrating your wedding, aside from the BIG DAY itself, so as soon as GATHER Events shared this amazing idea for a non traditional bachelorette party with us, we were immediately hooked. Inspired by Cocktail Academy’s unique offering of craft cocktails lessons, this shoot shares a peek at a bride-to-be’s last call – a night of indulgent drinks and delicious bites with her best gals before the wedding! The scene, set with a color palette of indigo, blush, crimson, and gold (so unique) + wild floral arrangements by Primary Petals, made for a luxurious, yet relaxed, atmosphere at Downtown LA’s Apartment A. From GATHER Events, We envisioned a refreshing departure from the typical bachelorette party bar scene. A crowd-free night out with your best girlfriends AND your own private bartender…what could be better?!
We think it sounds pretty perfect! And we’re beyond glad that Brian Tropiano captured this shoot so beautifully so we could all be inspired by this bachelorette party, redefined.
On the menu were specialty cocktails like:
An Apple a Day : rye whiskey, pear brandy, muddled Fuji apple, muddled thai basil, lemon juice; A Rose by Any Other Name : Gin, Lemon, Aperol, Rose water, egg whites; Twice Was Enough : Two types of Rum, Lime, Orgeat, Curaçao, mint sprig, cinnamon, orange wedge; and Bootsy Collins : Tequila, Lemon, Lime, Celery, Habanero Shrub, club soda, rosemary sprig, castelvetrano olives. Yum!
This lounge created a luxurious alcove for these girlfriends to celebrate together in style. And speaking of style, we adore just about every element that went into this setting. To help you get a similar look for your own bachelorette (or perhaps bridal shower?), we’ve put together a little round-up of key pieces below:
From GATHER Events, Small bites from Taste of Pace, including oysters, latkes with caviar, fruits and pâté, comprised the perfect menu for the easy-going floor lounge.
We’re in love with this tabletop styling, with vintage place settings from Borrowed Blu, hand-dyed cocktail napkins, painted candelabras and custom napkin rings by GATHER Events, and stunning centerpieces (made from dahlias, garden roses, cosmos and blackberries) by Primary Petals.
This is just one fun idea for bringing a little twist to the average bachelorette party. But we, and these talented creatives below, encourage you to do what YOU love for your bachelorette party! Whether it’s taking a class together, wine tasting, or a glamorous night out, the sky’s the limit + it’s your night. Make it a good one! Bravo to the team who brought this fun shoot to life!
