It may be almost 8 years since Gossip Girl’s last episode aired, but we’re still trying to channel all of Blair + Serena’s epic ensembles. Anytime we make it to NYC, we imagine them walking the avenues (AKA their personal runway), and try to make a trip to the Met Steps (hello, iconic before school scenes with yogurt!). When Rebecca of Chris & Becca Photography found out this styled shoot was to be taking place at The Foundry in NYC—which was featured in Gossip Girl—she about flipped and knew she had to be a part of it (we don’t blame her).
The overall theme was “Rose Colored Glasses,” and naturally, focused on pink hues, particularly rose. With that in mind, and to offset all the blush, the groom donned a suit we could totally see Chuck Bass sporting: dark green plaid, no less! With the help of designer, Michelle Elaine Weddings, this team of creatives truly made those fabulous Gossip Girl-inspired NYC vibes shine…and now, we’re really, really wanting to attend some kind of soirée or gala!
We encourage you to turn on “Young Folks” by Peter Bjorn and John and fall under the spell of this classically cool NYC style!
Check the guest list! Did you receive one of these coveted invites crafted by Write Pretty For Me?
The Outfits
Spotted canoodling in the courtyard of The Foundry are these two cuties, dressed to the nines!
But seriously, how cool is this plaid suit from The Black Tux?! It’s the ‘Black Watch Tartan Tuxedo,’ and we could definitely see Chuck Bass in a similar look.
All that beaded goodness on the Theia ‘Aster’ + the sheer illusion lace…talk about STUNNING!

MG Hair & Makeup kept these two looking camera ready all day.
The Tablescape
Florals, florals, and more florals! Designs by Ahn created the textured masterpiece above the table and brought pink + popping delights to the actual tablescape. Plus pampas grass? Always a fave!
The whitewashed brick wall makes a pretty good backdrop to this vignette, doesn’t it?

The Florals
Can’t get over all the silver dollar and the pretty pink textures here!
The Tasty Bites
Because every event needs good food to go along…and bites that make for pretty pics! These plates were put together by Dish Food & Events.
Last, but certainly not least, Nine Cakes crafted this luxe + utterly cool soft pink cake with ‘rock candy’ and a touch of gold!
Such a fun one, right? This was all part of a stylish project put on by Ruffled called the Styled Social. Check out their site to see if they’re coming to your town!
And be sure to check out the lovely video above the Wonderstill! Tune in next time. xoxo, GWS
