We’re calling that beaded sparkling Cleo gown above the dress of our DREAMS! In fact, all the gowns in this Spring 2019 collection are a dream! And with that, we’re thrilled to introduce Tara Lauren—the bridal brand from Southern California that we’ve been absolutely enchanted by. Yep, we’re definitely keeping our eyes on sister duo, Tara + Shaina; their namesake brand captures that quintessential California style: easy and effortless, yet sultry and light, with dance-friendly silhouettes. The result? Gowns which exude a distinct luxe bohème style: feminine, mystical, and modern.
The latest collection, Isle Botanica, highlights that luxe coastal aesthetic with a sultry island feel. The main inspiration stems from Bali (hello, bucket list!), and all the intricate ruins + its carefree feeling. Imagine the quiet mystique of Indonesia’s lush forests and tropical botanicals—those are the elements that inspired the use of wild, ornate beading and lace appliqué. We could keep telling you about how enchanting these gowns are…but we’d rather show you!

The Assouline
The sister duo grew up in the wedding industry as their mother owned a bridal shop. So, after Tara studied Bridal and Evening Wear at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and Shaina got her Bachelor of Arts from Chapman while honing her fashion-styling skills, it only made sense for them to team up! (And you KNOW we’re all about supporting creative boss ladies here at GWS—so cool to see what they’ve designed!)
The Maya
Whether you’re eloping in an exotic location, having a coastal wedding on the cliffs, or a huge celebration (perhaps in a barn or greenhouse?), we can picture the Maya styled in so many different ways! Plus, as the night begins to chill, wouldn’t this look so cool paired with a denim or leather jacket?
The Dawson
The Dawson is slinky + sophisticated with the sleek crepe fabric + curve-hugging silhouette. Plus, the lace bodice adds a touch of sensuality. ;)
The Lucia
Can’t. Stop. Staring. And the way it cinches in at the waistline—so feminine!
The Gaia
The lace detailing and those sleeves on the Gaia. TOO GOOD!
The Anise
All the floral influence here and that deep V on the Anise. Swoon. Serious swoon.

Seen on the right is the Easton, and we simply can’t get over that floral skirt!

Airy soft tulles and lace appliqués hold a special place in our hearts, and the Giuletta is nothing short of magnificent.
Yep, definitely making our hearts go pitter-patter in the best way possible.
The Sultana
Illusion lace, airy tulle and floral appliqué were made to go together. Don’t you think?

The Russo
