Two podcast hosts joined forces to virtually record an episode, and then fell in love! Ian Karmel, comedian, writer, and host of All Fantasy Everything invited Dana Schwartz, author and podcast host of Noble Blood onto his show. They met, had an instant connection, and the rest was history (get it??).
Due to the state of COVID during the early stages of their relationship, dates were often quite limited. While many of us were staying in, ordering takeout, and watching movies to pass the time, these two were doing that while also falling in love! One year after they began dating, Ian took Dana on their first “official” date. A private screening of the rom-com classic You’ve Got Mail was followed by dinner at République and ice cream at their favorite neighborhood spot. Little did Dana know that a beautiful proposal was the REAL sweet treat!
What’s cuter than a “just tying my shoe” fakeout? Ian strategically popped the question in front of their favorite ice cream shop, Wanderlust. Which if you are in LA and you haven’t been here, you need to try! They have the most creative flavors!!
There’s nothing sweeter than true love!
Ian proposed with a beautiful and delicate three-stone engagement ring.
Dating in the middle of COVID can be tough given the limited in-person interactions. Dana and Ian experienced a “young love” approach to their relationship for this very reason. Constant texting turned to long phone calls which eventually led to this beautiful proposal!
Look at that sparkle!
Congrats to Dana and Ian on your love story for the ages! This is the next ‘royal’ wedding we’ll be looking forward to!
