This is her second marriage and it’s a whole new ball game when it comes to wedding planning again — and with blended families. How He Asked
Okay, so I had a girls’ weekend with my besties and now bridesmaids Paige, Lauren, and Sara Happ (SGT is also a bridesmaid but wasn’t here).
We stayed local and had plans to have brunch at AOC in WeHo Sunday morning. Because we were together all weekend, I actually tried to bail on the brunch — I wanted to go to the flower truck and grab my weekly flowers. But the girls insisted I go. (Haha I now know they were freaking out!!)
So we sit down for brunch and Paige was very particular about where we sat. Weird, but not totally unheard of for Paige. So we order and are just chatting when all of the sudden the girls start handing me Adrian Koehler note cards, one by one. I start reading them — they are sweet love letters from Adrian that I can barely process…I’m like, what is going on!! I should mention, he had his kids this weekend so I wouldn’t have expected him to propose when he had the kids — logistics, ya know.
But, low and behold, as I was reading each note and freaking out, out walks Adrian. He knelt down on one knee and had my beautiful ring in his hand and said, “This is for you, will you be mine.”
I said yes.
