A Dreamy + Decadent Dinner Party at the Peabody Library

It’s no surprise: GWS loves wedding vendors + all they do. They’re usually the brains + braun behind other people’s big celebrations, so we love it when they get to do some celebrating themselves.

That’s why we’re excited to share the indulgent dinner party that caterers Occasions put together for an intimate group of luxury wedding planners + vendors at the JAW-DROPPINGLY beautiful Peabody Library in Baltimore, Maryland.

There were oysters. There was bubbly. An opulent banquet table full of fresh fruits + veggies curved its way through the library’s stunning atrium. And (maybe our favorite part) all of the day’s flowers and edible components were donated to a very worthy cause at the end of the night.

So, please join us in a round of applause for all the tireless planners + vendors out there 👏.

Now let’s take a peek at pics from Anna + Mateo of this decadent vendor’s night out!

The Stunning Set-Up

Sophisticated arched-back guest seating, a curving banquet table, and chic white linens from Table Manners created a whimsical, modern vibe that popped into the venue’s historic architecture.

So into those elegantly folded + sealed sage green from Social On Weekends, who created all of the evening’s paper goods.

Victoria Clausen Floral Events created an immersive botanical experience and played into the event’s rich harvest aesthetic with lots of lush greenery + pops of floral color.

Kayli from Occasions remembers how the evening culminated in a collaborative, charitable project: “After dinner was complete we invited our guests to participate in “strike” and to deconstruct all of the beautiful florals created by Victoria Clausen Floral Events to turn into bouquets that Occasions then donated to a local woman’s shelter along with all of the food used for decor and then some.”

Cocktail Curations was on hand, shaking + making creative cocktails for the guests including the beautiful lavender-adorned drinks that were waiting at each place setting.

Some Bites To Begin

Before guests took their seats at the beautiful banquet table, they enjoyed an “Oysters and Bubbles” station as well as tray passed Hors d’ouvres.

If you weren’t hungry already, you’re about to be: the evening’s feast consisted of a four-course plated dinner, which included Gougère al la Provençale, Smoked Salmon Mousse and Scallops, Roast Filet of Bison with Truffle Pommes Puree, and for dessert The Robin Leach (Champagne Ice Cream, Caviar, and 24 Karat Edible Gold Leaf).

We really do love that for all its opulence, this beautiful evening benefitted a good cause. Donating florals and edible decor elements like Occasions did is one of our fave eco friendly event planning ideas.

New dinner party dreams: unlocked. Congratulations to Occasions for putting together such a stunning celebration!
