Let the final countdown officially begin! It’s almost 2020, and we’re ringing in the New Year with sparkly disco ball realness. But really, what’s more celebratory than disco balls? Today’s elopement inspiration is the perfect way to dive into a new decade, with iridescent decor, art-inspired styling and two gorgeous brides!
Planner Elise, with Brannan Events & Design, shares the team’s inspiration for the day: We envisioned that the real life couple would want something really romantic and yet really playful so with Status Salon‘s masterful touch, we sprinkled the brides with real florals. Florals were delicately attached to their face, in their hair, weaving up their arms, and even on the veil! The ceremony was modern-minimalist meets colorful-boho with a square wooden backdrop, and colorful florals.
Grab a disco ball cocktail with us + turn on Auld Lang Syne, because some major NYE style is about to drop! Lauren Feddersen Photography leads the countdown:
Purple Palette
It’s a beautiful + soft purple palette for this invitation suite by Jen Che Designs. Sweet disco ball envelope liner!
It’s so fun seeing how florists explore their creativity with dyeing flowers + greens! Athena’s Divine Florals spraying this eucalyptus lilac is a perfect example! These dried + bleached flowers look so rad against the shiny disco ball vibes and sequin fabrics.
Disco Queens
Disco Queen! Here’s the ‘Andy’ dress from Made With Love. It’s truly an artful + sophisticated dress with a square neckline and sparkly sequin lace. And we think everyone needs this sequin capelet, from Katie Prichard Designs, for their New Year’s Eve parties!
Sprinkled in Flowers
This floral-adorned veil is blowing our minds! Here’s the ‘Max’ gown from Made With Love. This dress is all about the drama with romantic tulle + removable sleeves.
New Year’s Eve Dinner
A festive + inviting tablescape that we’re here for! The iridescent glassware and sassy plates really rock this look. Plus the linens from La Tavola tie it all together.
More irresistible iridescent NYE vibes at this winter wedding inspiration!

Disco Drinks
Let Them Eat Cake in 2020
These disco ball cookies are all we want for 2020! The Speakeasy Baking Co. nailed these desserts – especially the gradient lilac cake.
Happy New Year’s Eve from GWS! Keep the sparkles comin’ in 2020 :)
