“Cowboy Chic Meets Metallic Glam” For This Shimmery Western Wedding Shoot

If you’ve got Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter on repeat like we do, this one’s for you.

This “Cowboy Chic Meets Metallic Glam” editorial shoot from planner + event designer Madlyn of MadLove Events is a contemporary country design dream. Madlyn assembled a team of creative TX-based vendors to bring her sleek + shimmery vision to life and to highlight the elevated western vibes of Dove Hollow Estate, the Longview, Texas venue that Madlyn + her sister Natalie designed with the goal of creating a versatile space that speaks to both modern + rustic wedding aesthetics.

Metallic silver and gold accents gave the shoot its shine. The largely black + white color palette was pure sophistications, and pops of burnt orange and rust added depth + warmth. Madlyn said it best when she called the shoot a “fresh take on western romance,” and pictures from photographer Waking Starlight captured every dazzling design detail.

We can’t wait to show you!

Alexa, play “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM.”

Nothing says cowgirl glam like a pair of rhinestone fringe metallic bridal cowboy boots!

Western Wedding Day Style

Model Caroline was radiant in this shimmery white long sleeve plunge neck Chantel Lauren gown from Lagniappe Bridal Boutique. We love the simple elegance of the silhouette!

The western accessory game was strong. A metallic silver concho disc belt added tons of rustic flair!

Reckon you can’t call yourself a western bride without a hat! The June Teardrop Rancher from Gigi Pip added sophisticated cowgirl charm to Caroline’s look.

Definitely look through our list of the coolest wedding boots if this stunning silvery look has you feeling inspired!

Model Brock was the definition of a chic western groom in this black Stetson cowboy hat.

A black + silver bolo tie and a pair of brown ostrich boots rounded out the effortless no-jacket look.

Botanical Floristry was behind the modern elegance of the day’s ivory + metallic flowers.

A Contemporary Wedding Chapel Ceremony

Obsessed with b+w tilework in Dove Hollow Estate’s modern, reimagined wedding chapel.

Caroline’s gorgeous loose curl down-do was the work of Hair By Tess, and Victoria Morris created this rosy neutral makeup look.

So into the shimmery simplicity of this floral + metallic greenery ceremony backdrop.

There’s something so timelessly glamorous about a low back on a long sleeve wedding dress!

A Wedding Cake With Western Flair

Morgan Pearl Cakes is the baking genius behind this towering FIVE tier ivory and silver wedding cake.

The details on each tier were so distinct!

Bottoms Up!

Pour Me created the day’s unique (and photogenic!) cocktails: a spicy jalapeño margarita with a Tajin rim for the bride and a Cowboy Palmer for the groom!

Completely charmed by the modern-meets-deco vibes of these ribbed flower shaped coupe glasses!

A Modern-Yet-Rustic Reception

Table decor from Borrowed was a warm + elegant take on country charm.

Grab some orange tapers candles, some assorted rustic glass bud vases, and a few mercury glass taper candle holders to recreate this romantic + rustic tablescape.

A shimmery DIY: Madlyn added flecks of gold leaf to these brown leather chargers to tie in the day’s metallic design elements.

How adorable are those Tipsy Longhorn cocktail napkins from Pioneer Linens?!
