Tracey + Bob were in full celebration mode for their colorful Carpinteria, California wedding because one of the major wedding day boxes was already checked: these two had already said “I do!”
Like so many couples who had to adapt their wedding trajectory during the pandemic, Tracey + Bob tied the knot with an intimate family-only wedding when things were still shut down. So it was high time they got the big celebratory wedding experience they’d been waiting for. “We knew that we wanted this to feel like a big party,” says the couple, “with lots of dancing and skipping the stuffy wedding traditions (like cake cutting and cheesy speeches!)”
Planner + event designer Jamie from Wild Heart Events helped Tracey + Bob’s vibrant vision come to life at Klentner Ranch. The whole day was nonstop color + texture + sparkle complete with sunny skies and an absolutely dreamy tented reception.

The floral details in Tracey + Bob’s baby blue + white wedding invitations were a perfect precursor to the floral magic they filled their day with.
Going Steady Studios went bold and bright with Tracey + Bob’s wedding day flowers. Primary blues, reds, and yellows were supplemented with saturated pinks and oranges.
The dress shopping experience that led Tracey to this floral appliqué plunge neckline wedding gown was blissfully uncomplicated. “I’m very decisive and knew that I wanted a dress from Mira Zwillinger,” says Tracey. “I went to one of their trunk shows in Chicago, tried on a few dresses and decided on the dress that I went in knowing I’d choose!”
A Sunny + Colorful Ceremony
Photographer Jodee put it best when she said these vibrant florals created “a bold, colorful and eclectic color palette that popped against the stunning coastal setting of Klentner Ranch.”
“Going Steady Studios executed the design in such a clever way by incorporating different textures of florals and feathers,” says Jodee, “with a wow-moment asymmetrical arch that just worked.”

Who doesn’t love a spritz?! Tracey + Bob’s carefully chosen signature cocktails were there for guests to sip while they got the party started.
Music from Dart Collective had everybody in attendance making good use of this beige + white dance floor form RCD Dance Floors.
Snag a few full size disco balls and some colorful blooms to recreate the disco glitz of Tracey + Bob’s reception florals.
This delicious antipasti spread was the work of Pure Joy Catering.
The Italian feast continued with fresh wood fired pizza from Lucca Truck.
