While we may *LOVE* weddings here at GWS—the romance definitely does not end after the big day…in fact, we wholeheartedly believe that you should keep dating your partner + growing together, each and every day of married life. Ashley, of Everyday Pursuits, definitely agrees with us on this concept and wanted to celebrate her special anniversary with her husband, Andy, so the two of them headed to Solaz Hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico!
Ashley tells us: My hubby and I got married a year ago in Los Cabos and for our anniversary we decided to reunite with our wedding dream team to create some more beautiful moments! The inspiration for the day actually came from THE headpiece by Margarita Diaz del Castillo, that I discovered during a recent trip to Colombia. It’s such a statement and made me feel like a queen when I put it on, just like every bride should feel on their wedding day. Since we got married inland at ACRE, we wanted this shoot to be on the beach, and Amy Abbott designed it to perfection!
Ready for the ultimate anniversary/wedding inspo? Let’s head to the beach in these photos By Julieta!
Isn’t that dress a DREAM?! Rue de Seine knows a thing or two about boho gowns…
The Sweethearts
By the Sea
Not only are they by the beach…but they got to go horseback riding?! Okay, cue the romance.
Total boho BLISS!
Fancy saying your vows over again? We adore how this backdrop highlights the natural beauty of the area, while incorporating feathery fronds of pampas grass.
Here are 21 Unique Ways to Include Pampas Grass in Your Wedding Decor!
We didn’t plan for the horse moment…but they are always walking the beach of Los Cabos and the second I saw them I knew we needed to grab some shots! These have to be my favorite of the entire shoot; sometimes the most serendipitous moments make for the best memories and photos.
The Understated + Cool Lounge
For the cocktail lounge, they played off the color of Andy’s suit. The rich hue and all the gold details created such a luxe yet beachy vibe, don’t you think?

The Dinner Tablescape of Our Dreams
Ashley is obsessed with the hanging lights and peacock chairs, so naturally she had to incorporate them at the sweetheart table!
Maria of Baja Boutique Rentals and Lola of Florenta Flower Design created these amazing vignettes all around the Solaz property. The property itself is SO stunning and has never ending photo opportunities.
Los Cabos has so many beautiful places to get married or celebrate an anniversary and the beach is obviously such a great destination. My wedding planner, Amy Abbott, and I chatted about the vision and ultimately decided on a romantic modern vibe with a Baja-inspired flair.
You know we’d want to snap a photo (or ten) in front of these bad boys!
What a way to celebrate love! Congratulations to the both of you + happy anniversary!!
