Nothing like a fresh pop of color against a crisp, white backdrop to make you say: “WOW!” Wow really doesn’t do this winter wedding justice though. Lindsey + Adam threw a luxe wedding at Omni Mount Washington Resort that combined rich color, glam details, fun touches like Eye Candy Balloons and nods to their sweet french bulldogs. L, who owns Lindsey M. Events, was ready for her day as the bride. After planning events for others, she jumped at the chance to dive in and design a wedding day that was colorful, personal and memorable. She shared this about how they made the day their own:
Our entire weekend was about us debunking any typical wedding traditions. We opted not to have bridal parties, but instead had our two sisters stand by our sides during the ceremony. Adam & I saw each other the morning of the wedding. I walked down the aisle by myself. We had a magician (yes, a magician) at our cocktail hour, opted for ice cream over cake and nixed parent dances. Instead, I did a “family dance” which featured my Dad and all his children. Overall, we wanted the wedding to feel unique and beautiful, but also relaxed and not too over the top. In the end, I think it was the perfect reflection of us.

Striking Details
We love these strong details and colors! Taking inspiration from the vibrant shades of poppies, Bonomo Paper Co. created these simple but striking invitations. There are so many sweet touches here too like L + A’s Paul Richter rings, adorable french bulldog-inspired swizzle sticks by Jenn and Jules Designs and glam Old Hollywood stamps.
How about these Sam Edelman heels for some fierce bridal kicks?!
Bridal Fashion
Speaking of Old Hollywood, L looked every bit the movie star in her adorable feather trimmed robe from Le Nuage and matching slippers. If you want to snag this glam look for yourself, check out the bridal necessities below!

Bridal Fashion at its finest! Lihi Hod designed this sleek off-the-shoulder stunner that looks straight off the red carpet. L paired it with a pearl choker from Kenneth Jay Lane and starburst earrings from White Peony by KC. The cherry on top? That FAB red lip!!
Speaking of red, how about these rich, red florals and other tones like butter yellow, dusty blush, rose and peach?? Emily Herzig Floral Studio nailed the floral game on wedding day with gorgeous bloom-filled bouquets, a lush and natural ceremony installation and tall, eye-catching table centerpieces.
Modern Wedding Party
Glam fashion all around at this winter wedding! We love the dresses that L + A’s sisters chose on the big day. Jay Godfrey designed the black gown while Reformation designed the velvet. The Crown Boutique is to thank for that gorgeous makeup and Hair That Moves nailed the sleek updos. A was looking dapper in Sebastien Grey Clothiers.
Retro Glam
All the heart eyes for these two!!!
Processional: Le Vie en Rose
Recessional: Rock & Roll Part 2
First Dance: She is My Everything - John Prine
With their color palette showcasing pops of color against classic white, L + A couldn’t have chosen a better venue!
Hey there movie star! We’re all about the faux fur jackets at GWS and L’s is stunning! Check out some more faux fur options that are perfect for a winter wedding down below!

Sweet Doggos
Precious puppies!! L + A’s french bulldogs, Martini and Potato Chip, played a huge role as wedding inspiration. You can find them in the swizzle sticks, signature cocktail, table numbers and snacks. Even Martini got in on the glam look with a pearl collar from Olive & Pearls!
Lush Ceremony Style
Wow wow wow!! This ceremony installation is STUN-NING! We love the use of unique blooms like tulips, poppies, lilac, fritillaria and mimosa.
As a wedding planner, I truly enjoy serving others so seeing how much fun our guests were having was pure joy. Watching our Uncles get giddy over the old fashion ice cream bars we served for dessert and seeing our friends geek out of our cocktail hour magician, were amazing moments. Looking back at the photos and seeing the excitement on people's faces was so thrilling for us.
Winter Wedding Portraits
Heavenly! Where does the bride end and the snow begin?? Winter wedding magic!
Bridal capes are totally on trend! They were one of our favorites that we spotted during 2020 New York Bridal Fashion Week.
The SWEETEST!!!
Hotel Reception Decor
The martini theme was in full force with this amazing cocktail shaker escort card table by Littleton Sign Co, featuring escort tags by Pumped on Paper.
Even though L is an event planner, she says she couldn’t have pulled off the day without her day-of-coordinator, Life by Laura. In fact, having a coordinator is her expert tip for couples planning now.
My advice as both a planner and a bride would be to always hire a month-of coordinator. It is a must! Plan ahead to have all the wedding logistics and any final meetings done the week before and leave the rest up to your coordinator. This way you can focus on fun personal things like packing and getting your nails done in the days leading up to the wedding. Additionally, if you can drop off all your decor and welcome bags at your venue the week before your wedding - do it! Get that clutter out of your home and clear your mind to rest up for the days ahead!
Luxe and Colorful Florals
All white rentals and linens from Party Rental Ltd. let the colorful florals and candles pop! So gorgeously vibrant for a winter wedding don’t you think?
Sweet doggy details. How adorable are those custom table numbers from Julia Loyd Design??

Thank you Green Wedding Shoes for sharing this awesome wedding! A favorite for so many reasons! We LOVED sourcing the flowers for this one – so vibrant and fresh, a perfect contrast to winter in the White Mountains.

This bride is a total babe! Styled to perfection 👌🏻
What a great honor to have a part of our POP of color for Lindsey & Adam’s wedding featured at Green Wedding Shoes. It was so much fun to get to create for their special day and add some bubbly balloon decor elements like the colorful balloon puffs shown in these photos along with the amazing stage decor created for their reception area shown in the video. Truly so lucky to get to do what we do. Thanks for sharing the fun with others.
Just love it, so much color !
