Bridal Fashion Week for Fall 2020 just wrapped and we have all our fave wedding dress trends from the shows – think a flurry of florals, glittering metallics, bold lace detailing, flowing capes, billowing poet sleeves and a little inspo from the Wild West! Every single one of these dresses is a statement making gown and we’re ready to see brides rock these trends in the coming year! So much drama you guys!! We are totally in love! Everyone has fallen in love with florals this season! So, designers have taken the lush blooms we’ve seen taking over the wedding decor scene and splashed them on gowns from head to toe! These gowns make us want to frolic through a meadow with that train dancing along behind us!!

Metallics

Whether it’s a bit of shimmer from a metallic thread (hello rose gold gowns!) or some sparkle from sequins, we are all about metallics for the bride! We are seeing rust, gold and champagne tones popping up everywhere from florals to rentals, so it’s fitting they should be a big hit for wedding dress trends too…

Lace wedding gowns will always be our fave and we’re loving all the different gorgeous ways lace is currently used in gowns – whether it’s more big and bold with a boho spin or in more elaborate details and accents, we will never tire of this trend!

Cowboy Vibes

We saw major cowboy vibes in Rue De Seine’s most recent collection and we loved that the trend was going strong with Hayley Paige’s Fall 2020 collection as well as Daughters of Simone Come Hell or High Water. Hayley shared that her most recent collection is inspired by the idea of the heart letting love run wild with a Rhinestone Cowboy theme. Her collection featured hats designed by New York milliner, Eugenia Kim in collaboration with Hayley Paige.

Strong Western vibes in the Daughters of Simone “Come Hell or High Water” Collection.

They shared this about their inspiration:

During the years of 1934-1986 american painter Georgia O’Keeffe laid her stake in New Mexico. Her best work was created there, living in solitude, climbing the white rocks and traveling around in her ford model ‘a’ car. We delighted in the image of this solo woman, buying her own home, teaching herself how to drive, and spending her days exploring the desert, examining animal bones and interacting with the native communities. Having been raised by all women, it’s no wonder that every photograph taken of her shows a strong, unwavering silhouette. These years and her time spent there is the spirit and drive of this year’s collection.
