An Adventurous Elopement At Sea on a Vintage Boat in Alaska

So you want to elope somewhere remote and gorgeous…

Maybe you want breathtaking views without having to hike up an entire mountain. Maybe your Pinterest boards are full of outdoorsy “I do’s” that have all started to look the same to you, and you want to do something unique.

Have you ever considered setting sail and eloping on the open ocean?

We are SO excited to show you this gorgeous styled wedding shoot that elopement photographer Traci of Adventure and Vow captured aboard the Fair Isle in beautiful Seward, Alaska. Planners from AMW Studios and floral designers from Honey Bee Florals teamed up with Traci to imagine what kinds of intimate and romantic wedding magic could happen aboard a vintage boat.

Let’s get our sea legs and check it out!

“Adventure elopements do not always involve big hikes, rock climbing or getting lost in the wilderness,” says photographer Traci of Adventure and Vow. “Sometimes they involve relaxation, wonder and peace with a little bit of romance.

“Having this stunning vintage boat to yourselves for an evening to explore the bay around Seward, AK and the Kenai Fjords National Park is a dreamy way to spend your elopement day just you two or you two and a couple of friends,” Traci says. “From spending time snacking below, time above looking for whales and docking on stunning beaches to say I do as waterfalls and glaciers tower around you.”
