More and more couples are having elopements and looking for a way to put their own creative spin on the day. I just love the inspiration sent over for today for an elopement in a warehouse – love the mix of urban and pretty flowers. :) The team imagined a couple coming upon this vast, raw industrial warehouse and creating a perfect intimate dream world for their wedding by using the abandoned detritus that might be found within – an old box of doilies for a ceremony backdrop, long forgotten vintage musical instruments to serve as the dinner table centerpiece and dessert table accents, a dress form to stand in as the officiant, vintage cut crystal and silver for their place-settings.
The wedding is a quiet celebration. Each space – the ceremony, the reception, the dessert bar, the dance floor – is decorated only enough for each other and their furry witness, Pippi. The rest is left unfinished, beautifully empty. The color palette developed from the tones within the space. Greys, whites, terra cotta and natural wood tones are softened up with warm peachy tones. They further softened the spaces with their decorative accents of crochet doilies and blankets, crystal, feathers, gauze and chiffon. Such magical + dreamy inspiration! Big thanks to Leah Lee Photography and to GATHER Events and Occasions for the design + paper goods!
There is also an underlying musical note present throughout. Their book of vows, dinner place settings and dance floor decor are snippets of song lyrics that represent messages and love notes to one another. Their elaborate wedding dinner comes in the form of prettily-packaged gourmet takeout. Heirloom LA provided the incredible eats. Check out the cute cornish game hens and their famous lasagna cupcakes (which I can attest are so, so yummy!) All the amazing rental are from Archive Vintage Rentals and the stunning florals are by Krista Jon.
Gorgeous cake by Sweet and Saucy Shop.
Tower Films also provided a stunning visual display of both the behind-the-scenes action of the creative team and the stunning couple on their dream day.
Thanks so much to all these creative wedding artists for sharing their vision with us today!

Wow! I really love the theme color. You really inspired me and I’ve been thinking what to do for my future wedding. I love the wooden chairs you have there. Well, I wish that I could find several wooden chairs and may be I’m thinking to borrow some from the neighbors. I am planning for a simple wedding with close friends and families are our only guests.

Beautiful job! I love the video.
I loved looking at all the details, what a creative piece of art!
Oh man, it still isn’t old. We had so much talent crammed into one warehouse. Can I please have my house filled with these flowers on a daily basis?
This is just fabulous!! Love all of the intricate little details.
INCREDIBLE. What amazing style this couple has! Eating every detail up.
Please tell me the location of this!!! I’m looking for a warehouse venue for my wedding and I absolutely love this location!! I’m assuming this was done in LA based off looking at the different vendors you listed here. Please help!
@Jasmine glad you liked it! The venue, Jesse St. is hyperlinked in the vendor credits above. Yes, it is located in Los Angeles. Good luck in your venue search and please contact us if you need any help. :)
I’m so sad the link to the venue Jesse St.doesn’t work. It just comes back with “Http/1.1 Service Unavailable”
Very creative and lovely ideas especially the ceremony setup area.
Love the look of this! The video was amazing :)
