After spending a summer in the desert, this artistic couple left inspired and decided to style their wedding around the desert! Since Jonathan (the groom) is a furniture designer, they knew they wanted a comfortable outdoor space for guests to relax. Jonathan custom made a lot of the furniture for the wedding at the gorgeous Mercury Hall in Austin, Texas. I love that Valerie choose a dress from BHLDN that was nontraditional – and of course her amazing shoes are GORG (also from BHLDN)! The ring bearer was their dog Bogart who did a great job with his duties too. :) Thanks so much to Katherine O’Brien Photography for sending this one my way and congrats to Valerie + Jonathan!
Such a unique and personal day! Thanks so much for sharing it with us and congrats to Valerie + Jonathan!

Thank you all for the lovely comments! We had such a fun time planning the wedding and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing team. The groom’s ring!!! Yes, so sorry for the delay. It was made by artist E. Douglas Wunder, http://www.edouglaswunder.com It is the layered titanium ring and Jon loves the fact that it is so light.
