This wedding editorial’s story is a tale of two colors.
The irresistibly bold, bi-tonal blue and orange color world of this shoot – brought to life by a creative team led by planners + event designers from Broderie Anglaise and coordinators from Ellwed – was chosen with care to symbolize the majesty of a Greek sunset, the iconic branded refinement of luxury design, and how the two can intersect. Athina from Broderie Anglaise broke it all down for us:
First, the orange 🧡: “The vibrant Hermès-inspired orange of course, takes the center stage. It’s an iconic hue synonymous with heritage luxury, confidence, and craftsmanship,” Athina says. “It reflects the warmth of the Greek sunset, symbolizing passion, desire, and the fire of a love that is powerful and unforgettable.”
Then, blue 💙: “The shoot is immersed in the endless blue of the Aegean Sea, a natural luxury in itself,” Anthina says. “The sea becomes a living canvas—its depth and movement symbolizing eternal love, freedom, and infinity, mirroring a bond that is vast, pure, and everlasting.”
“The contrast between blue and orange creates a striking yet elegant dialogue: cool serenity meets radiant intensity.”
Riviera Coast provided the immaculate, open-air sea views. Saturated single-color floral design, billowing drapery, refined-yet-adventurous wedding style, and inventive moody lighting all came together to create that “effortless but not excessive luxury” aesthetic. And Vasilis Siampalis caught it all on camera.
“This [editorial] represents a new vision of destination weddings: intimate, bold, and unapologetically refined,” Athina says. “A celebration where fashion, design, and nature unite, capturing a love that is as infinite as the sea and as luminous as a Greek sunset.”
