describe your artistic style: Purple-haired photobomb extraordinaire seeks fun, adventurous couples to make creative magic with. Enjoys gargantuan waves of life-altering joy and is easily won over with tacos and coffee. Because every couple, every wedding and every love story is different, my photographic approach is never formulaic. Instead, I bring an vivid, kaleidoscopic eye to all the details and moments that makes your big day yours.
what inspires you? The foundation of how I work is all about capturing moments in a photojournalistic way: finding those monumental inklings of pure joy that you'll want to revisit forever. My deal is to not only capture those little moments that make your wedding so, well, *you*, but also to bring back those feelings of reeling bliss, no matter if you view the images 6 months or 60 years after the event of your lifetime.
what do you love about weddings? Being a wedding photographer means I get to meet people I may not have otherwise met and travel places I wouldn’t otherwise get to discover. So many of my clients become lifelong friends as a result of being invited to document the best day of their lives. As a visual storyteller, few things thrill me more than fleeting, serendipitous moments when color + light + people line up perfectly to create picture magic. Photography is the best tool I have to share in the humorous, blissful, complex, ordinary and extraordinary nature of humanity.
what's your travel policy? The Netherlands, Antarctica, the planet Endor: if you're celebrating outside of Los Angeles, I'm your girl. I love to travel for weddings because it allows my eyes a fresh perspective. I've photographed weddings in Europe, Mexico, South America, and all over the US. All destination wedding packages include extra hours dedicated to location scouting, because I know you're gonna want your portrait taken on top of a glacier, or chatting with the locals in the old historic village! Now, where's my hot pink passport?
