about us Radostina loves simplicity. Her minimalist approach, combined with white and clean lines, is the definition of elegance. Each one of her photos uses negative space as a visual element, giving the subject room to breathe and lending a sense of airiness. Favoring neutral tones, her work is organic, with a touch of romanticism and modernism. Radostina's use of film brings richness to her prints that cannot be surpassed in our digital world. Born in Varna, Bulgaria. Radostina first picked up a camera at the age of thirty - influenced by Scandinavian design magazines, the Dutch masters, and her love for history and past times. After finishing her Master's in Arts she made the move to Sofia and then to the Czech Republic, where she naturally felt the transition to graphic design, styling, and art direction. Somewhere here in the middle of her Czech adventure, the passion for photography was born and was so strong that she completely switch her career. A couple of years later - she embarked on her first trip to the United States and never looked back. Radostina calls now San Francisco her home. Radostina enjoys creating timeless, minimalistic, and emotive imagery. She is inspired by feminine touch, unique beauty, and classic style. She currently resides in San Francisco with her husband Martin and the English bulldog - Fuji. Radostina regularly travels for assignments, working between California and Europe. Radostina's work has been featured in many publications including Brides Magazine, Cosmopolitan Bulgaria, Martha Stewart Weddings, Magnolia Rouge, Wedding Sparrow. She even has a few books covers.
our approach / working with us Photography is an art. Wedding Photography too - although it is an art form, it is also history, it is a legacy. My goal here is to not do the same images over and over again, but images that you can see yourself and you can find yourself. Because people are different, they love different things, they act differently, they love differently… they even hold hands differently. And since this is your story, I think you should be in it. I have the same exact approach with portraits and with events even. I put an extra effort to get to know you and what is important to you - the people, the sentimental objects for you, everything matters. And then I use all my secret tools - using analog film, reading the light, and the room, documenting moments and applying my photo stylist skills when needed, to make the story more complete.
why we love weddings It is my belief that each and every wedding is special. So, whether you are planning an intimate elopement or an extravagant affair, close to home or abroad, I look forward to creating beauty on your momentous day. A wedding day is one of a kind occasion that brings together loved ones from near and far. With a select number of weddings I take on each year, from the initial meeting to the grand exit, I pride myself on being there for my couples each and every step of the way.
our travel policy I spend my time between California and Europe and traveling is a fundamental part of my life. I am beyond excited to photograph love in new places, so wherever you are wanting to get married I will happy to join! My passport is always ready.
