Hey there, I'm Jenny Smith. Alders is my maiden name and now the name of my company. I have fiery red hair and the passion to go with it.

My goal is always to document your day unobtrusively, provide you with artistic photography to hang on your walls, and leave you with whimsical memories. I get excited about plastic toy film cameras. I cry every time a dad gets choke up during his toast. And I love boldly colored wedding shoes.

what do you love about weddings?

In high school I fell in love with weddings while helping my mom coordinate them at our church. In college I studied photography so I could shoot weddings. Before I even graduated I started working at a wedding photography studio and started my own business a few years later. This has been a passion of mine for more than a decade. I love being with people on the happiest day of their lives and helping them remember every second of it.

what's your travel policy?

I've traveled to New Zealand, Colombia, Jamaica, and a dozen states to shoot weddings. I love to travel almost as much as I love weddings. And I love to combine the two and shoot destination weddings! My goal is to visit all 7 continents before I die. And to shoot a wedding on 6 of them.
