Stained Glass Wedding Inspiration at The Fig House

fig house styled shoot

Today’s unique styled shoot takes place at a brand new Los Angeles venue called The Fig House. It’s the brainchild of Steve Fortunato (of LA’s Room Forty) and was designed by Emily Henderson (of HGTV Secrets from a Stylist). To celebrate the opening, Jesi Haack Designs pulled together a beautiful editorial that focused + expanded on the pretty colors + design elements that were already decorating the space thanks to Emily. Inspired by all of the stained glass throughout, that became her motif for the day. You’ll see it artfully represented just about everywhere! And lovely details like the lush, wild florals by Honey + Poppies and the creative hand-painted paper goods have us totally swooning over it all. And we’re sure you will be, too! Here’s a bit more about the venue from Emily Henderson:

It’s 1920’s Hollywood Deco meets 1980’s party, meets 2014 Highland Park. Every piece of lounge furniture is one of a kind, designed by yours truly, with 50 pieces of original art by 12 different local artists (curated by The Jealous Curator), and some custom stained glass windows (by the world famous Judson Studios) that will make modern church goers weep with neon joy. In short: It’s Gatsby meets Any Warhol meets Marie Antoinette.

Sounds pretty rad, right?! And now you get to see it for yourself in all its glory! :) Big thanks to Woodnote Photography for these super fun photos!

The braided halo by Heidi Marie Garrett + stunning make up by Amy Clarke totally hit the mark! I love how they really embody the feel of the shoot…

And majorly love this giant tulle ceremony site installment!

The octagon tables added a fun modern edge to the classically lush table scape, and each place setting featured a hand painted illustration for the dinner menu. Such a cool idea.

And the gorgeous, modern cake by Sweet + Saucy Shop was a work of art in its own right!
