West Elm contacted me last month to see if we’d be interested in sharing some fun DIYs and inspiration using their paper flowers. Since I’m a huge fan of both West Elm + paper flowers (I love when couples use them in weddings!), I said yes, of course!
I thought this would be a great opportunity to inspire you lovelies to use paper flowers to DIY for your own events. So, to show a few different potential uses, we enlisted four of our rad + talented DIY contributors to give us their take on using the flowers. As you’ll see below, our DIY contributors did not disappoint and each brought along their own personal style when creating this lovely pieces that would add such a nice touch to any event.
I’m in major love with the results and can’t wait to share with you lovelies! So, let’s take a look…
Love & Peace
This first shoot is by Jesi Haack (and photographed by Mr. Haack). I love the mix of all the bright colorful flowers and this would make such a rad backdrop for a ceremony, dessert bar, or whatever else you can imagine! It would also be a great keepsake that you can use to decorate your house and remember your special day :)
To create these pieces, first use a pencil and draw your peace sign and heart. The using a drill with a medium sized bit, start drilling holes along the pencil mark. Pro Tip: Jesi drilled one hole, then cut the flower stem in, then drilled the next hole – that way she could see how much space each flower took up. Once the entire outline is full of flowers, go back through the design and fill in more flowers to thicken it up.
To tie the look together, she then used individual flowers to accent the tablescape. Makes a pretty gorgeous statement, right?!
Ruffled Rainbow Sweetheart Table Runner
Next up is Amanda with Anthomanic (photos by Melissa Arlena). She created a ruffled rainbow sweetheart table runner. Love all the vibrant colors in this one!
Amanda dyed sections of burlap, using the bucket method (Pro Tip: don’t rinse the fabric to keep the color bold), to match the lovely shades of the West Elm flowers. Once the burlap was just right, she added splashes of acrylic paint to the corresponding sections to add visual texture – the messier, the better as it will add a very painterly, textural detail. :)
Next she bunched the fabric to create ruffles, which she then glued in place with a hot glue gun to keep them in place. Then she cut the paper flower with wire cutters to a stem length of less than an inch, added hot glue and placed them in the corresponding color sections in the folds of fabric. Lastly, she fluffed open the paper flower bloom. Super pretty!
I love the next idea by Going Lovely (with photos from Kirsten Julia Photography) for your bar display!
BAR Letters
Going Lovely used the West Elm Paper Flower Wreath for these, which is a great idea since the wreath is made of a few different flowers that already look great together!
To create the BAR letters, you just need the West Elm Paper Flower wreath, letters (which you can find here) and a glue gun. Once you have your supplies, remove all the flowers from the wreath. Next you’ll glue the the flowers to your letters. Pro Tip: Going Lovely recommends gluing the flowers in the same pattern in which they were place on the wreath – this helps make sure that the letters feel balanced and not overcrowded with one particular flower.
For a second fun DIY, they created fun drink stirrers! They’re made from wooden skewer sticks and the West Elm paper tulips. Just cut the wooden stick to 6 inch lengths and insert the pointed side of the stick into the base of the tulip. Pro Tip: make sure to insert it far enough into the tulip so it’s stable and useful for your guests.
Floating Rose Wreaths
Christy, of One Handspun Day, created these beautiful Floating Rose Wreaths – with photos by Dana Grant Photography. Pro Tips from Christy to help you create this look yourself:
- I wanted to bring in more gold accents, so I added detail to the leaves of the roses before crafting the wreaths. To create the same effect, use a gold pen (Krylon 18KT Gold Leafing Pen) to draw a line down the center of each leaf and several lines on both sides of it.
- Each centerpiece requires approximately one dozen roses and re-uses part of the packaging from the roses.
- I love that the stems and leaves of the West Elm roses have a wire base because it makes them so easy to work with!
- You could also use the roses on the place settings as name cards or napkin rings!

wow! these paper flowers are great! our wedding is coming up real soon – may 26th to be exact. we haven’t locked down any particular decor yet, so i could totally see myself using these cute paper flowers! thanks so much for the chance to win – how exciting!
I think these would look great decorating the aisle chairs for the reception.
I would love to use the paper flowers as the centerpiece of our sweetheart table!
I am getting married this August and would LOVE to incorporate these flowers into my bouquet or in an art installation of some sort for a ceremony backdrop.
I think it would be fun to use West Elm flowers as a small bouquet for our youngest bridesmaid. Or possibly tie or wrap them around our dog’s collar for the wedding ceremony. Fur babies make important wedding party members too:-)
I’d love to see the flowers used as a dramatic wedding dress train! Very avant-garde and ethereal!
I would love to use these for a backdrop!
love these ideas! I think I’d like to use them for a unique runner — line them in grass… or have it used with shepard’s hooks.
for dinner parties, it would be nice to use with napkin settings.
I love, love, love paper flowers! My wedding is in an old opera house with a lot of painted florals on the walls and ceiling. And when I saw those details, I knew it would be beautiful to pull that same kind of artistic touch into the altar and centerpieces. It’s also an early spring wedding–just made for huge overflowing florals.
These would be beautiful in a bouquet!
I am getting married at a renuvated lumberyard and it would be super cool to be able to decorate the train at our ceremony with some flowers!
Honestly, I just want to put these around the top of my bed’s headboard. Love the “BAR” ones, though!
This would be awesome to use in head garlands for my bridesmaids
or
I could totally see these glued to a an old pallet, with all the flowers formed to make a big skull. That way it’s kind of organic and edgy, but still pretty. It would make a killer ceremony backdrop.
Planning a friends bridal shower for my backyard in a few weeks and the “BAR” flower letters are incredible!! The possibilities of what you can spell out are endless!! Love that idea!
these would make a cute garland decorating the sweetheart table! OR in a garland decorating chair backs! I’m doing 4 decorated labeled (w/ cute signage) chair backs for ceremony seating for my and my fiance’s parents!
Wow! Beautiful!! I love how bright and cheery everything looks. Big impact!
i am making and using all paper flowers for my wedding, these will be a treat to add to my menagerie of fun!
These are amazing! Im seriously in love…
I absolutely love these flowers! I have my cinco de mayo wedding anniversary coming up. These flowers will be GREAT for my decor!
Ahh i love these. I have been brainstorming today how to decorate the head table and sweetheart table, and these flowers would be perfect.
These would be great to decorate our guest book, which is a poster drawn by me of a fantasy skyline that combines all of the houses, cities, restaurants, parks, and places that are important to us and our relationship. Guests will add to our ‘neighborhood’ by coloring in the building or landmark that speaks to them. This is my favorite DIY project of mine and I had wanted some paper flowers to put around the plain frame to draw some attention to it. These seem perfect!
Wow, love all the bright colors! Hard to turn away, everything is beautiful!
Ooooh, these would save me somuch time for my wedding in October! We’re having an Alice in Wonderland wedding with LOTS of flowers everywhere!! I wanted to wrap an entire tree trunk in them, but would love to see GWS do a DIY on how to do that quickly. I’m guessing maybe on fabric first?
These are amazing! The flowers look so cool in all the different arrangements!
I am reaally breathless! The arrangements are striking! I am going to send this to my sister in law immediately…my brother is getting married in the .Fall:) xo
I would make the skirts and head wreaths for the flower girls, half tulle, half paper flowers. I would also love to play around with an outrageous and glamorous head piece for the bride or bridesmaids. Then add some of them in the grass so the guest feel as if they are walking in to a magic garden.
I am getting married this September and was already thinking of ways to incorporate these flowers into our decor. I’m thinking it would be perfect with our cake table but these really would look great anywhere!
I would use the paper flowers at my beach-side wedding reception and then weave them into a year-round wreath to hang on our apartment door.
I would like to make a logo of our names with the flowers, sort of like what they did with the “bar” in this post.
This DIY rocks my world! What amazing talent and beauty! I would use the paper flowers as accents in the bar and ladies restrooms. I would entangle them around the towel racks, sinks, etc! (much like the floating rose wreaths!) They would add a nice cohesive look. Absolutely ADORE them!
How pretty these are! Would be a gorg back-drop at the colorful dessert table!!!
For these paper flowers I would definitely do a big monogram of our last name! Our venue has a big blank brick wall where our cocktail and reception is so paper flowers in our name would be a fantastic addition to the decor!
My fiance and I are planning on using paper flowers to line the aisle for our wedding. I also plan (hope) to use paper flowers to create a fun and colorful photo backdrop for the reception.
I would love to see the, hanging from trees for a ceremony backdrop. That would be beautiful!
I would love to create a whimsical backdrop with these beautiful paper flowers for a our wedding reception! Thanks GWS for the opportunity!
I could see these flowers being used on the arch way during the ceremony by wrapping the posts with fabric and the covering with the flowers.
I would love to use them as table center piece decorations! They are so cute!
LOVE this!! I would use the flowers to decorate a large paper mache monogram for my wedding! Plus, i’ve been obsessed with everything West Elm for years now!
I love paper flowers I have been trying out so many different tutorials online, but I haven’t been able to make anything quite as beautiful as the west elm creations. I would love to use the quince in my centerpieces for my upcoming wedding. Plus, I love the idea of dismantling the wreath, I think using the buds for place cards would be lovely.
Wow – they ALL look amazing! Will definitely give this a try… :)
I’d make them into giant initials of our names!
Really Pretty!!! They’d look great as a table setting.
I would love to make some flower garlands for my hair for the summer, as well as a flower garland on string for our home office or bedroom. I am also utterly obsessed with the paper flower headboard on Design Love Fest, but that might take more than 2 dozen flowers. :)
I would incorporate them in a headband on my bridesmaids hair or perhaps in a waist sash.
I love these! I would use them to decorate our monogram on the door of our venue.
I’d love to see GWS use the West Elm paper flowers to make bridal hair pieces – I think they could make really fun accessories for a bride and her bridesmaids! I would also love to see the flowers used to make boutonnières!
I’d love to see these decorating an archway!
Great site. Beautiful work and done by a creative mind.
Absolutely LOVE the Going Lovely bar display! I am definitely going to share this with my girlfriends who are getting married this year!
This is such a pretty idea and a great alternative to real flowers! I love the BAR that goinglovely designed! You could use it for any letters!
Paper flowers are always so surprisingly beautiful and eco/budget friendly. Love all the ideas of incorporating them into dresses. Everything from trains to veils and possibly even accessories?
I would love to use them on large letters, but instead of “BAR” as above, for our initials at the ceremony site!
I’d love to use these flowers as the backdrop to our altar. I’d hang them from different ribbions & do a color gradation effect. Something like a sunset would be really beautiful.
I loved the paper flowers for the word BAR, its such a cute way to dress up an area that all guests visit and see! Wonderful idea going lovely!!!
I would love to use the flowers to brighten up the home my partner and I are moving into together, and then repurpose them for fun decorations at our wedding ceremony! I’m thinking a cute and bright display at the bar to keep people talking while they wait!
I would love to use these in a monogram, but they would also look gorgeous as a garland! These would be really pretty intertwined with twinkly lights :) Thank you for the giveaway!
I like the flower letters but I’d also like to see them as garlands on the backs of chairs. They look beautiful!
Ok, I have to admit looking at the title of this post, I was a little skeptical, but these are gorgeous!
I’d go pretty traditional and put my flowers in a simple vase on our bedstand.
I would use them for the initials on our chairs at our wedding!
I’d love to use the paper flowers in centerpieces!
I am planning on making a flower photo booth backdrop and would love to use the flowers from west elm.
I’ve been making tons of paper flowers for my wedding in two months. I’m going for realism with a few large scale surprises. I am really loving those half-painted, wooden vases.
I love the idea of using the flowers for the BAR sign, such a pretty way to decorate a space people will be for a good chunk of the evening. I can’t wait for my wedding!
I love the floating rose wreaths.
I love going lovely’s amazing ideas! I’ll def be using their ideas at my wedding.
such cute ideas! I love the floral bar cart and peace sign back drop!
I’m using paper flowers for my wedding. I’m loving the paint dipped hanging vessels which am thinking of using at the bar. Also have been making some for table decorations to sit in old jam jars but wanted to do something with our initials and the ‘bar’ idea looks perfect :)
I think I would like to hang them in either somewhat of a chandelier configuration or from multiple ribbons to form a back drop.
I would love to make a board with a heart and cross similar to the heart and peace sign for at my ceremony. Such a cute idea. Finding a way to incorporate lights would be really cute also.
Absolutely love these paper flowers!! I would use them for my daughter’s summer sweet sixteen sweet table, cake, and would decorate the big picture frame I’ll have set up for picture taking!
I’d love to use them as decoration for the dessert table, and then display in our apartment after!
We are using different hues of blues throughout our outdoor wedding & reception, and having these blue paper flowers would be a great way to add a funky pop of color. We are making a photo wall, where our guests can pop their heads through cut out windows & use a polaroid camera to have fun snapping pictures. We would add the flowers to this wall to add texture and blue hues to the photo wall. Then they will get to return to our home with us & be on display after the wedding is over.
I think I would style them around the cake table and spell out “cake”.
I’d love to see a monogram used with the paper flowers for the bride and groom! That would be beautiful to have at the entrance of a reception!
I would love to use some paper flowers in the spray painted and decorated wine bottles that I have reused in my apartment. What a pretty arrangement that never dies :)
So many awesome DIYs!! I’m dying to do all of it!!
I would use simply use them for centerpieces, but then bring them home and make a wall art piece.
I would use the flowers to decorate our arbor at the ceremony site, They would be perfect and look so lovely!
I would use them to style my dessert table! My family is bringing in traditional desserts in lieu of a wedding cake, I would love paper flowers to pull together an eclectic table.
I’d love to use them in my new bedroom that I’ve redesigned.
I love that West Elm is now carrying a collection of paper flowers. They look so whimsical on their own and make a bold statement when grouped together in the various projects featured on this post. It would be amazing to see the West Elm paper flowers dotted down the sides of the aisle adding a pop of color in a very whimsical, beautiful and eco-friendly way. Like wild flowers blooming on the side of the road. Such simple perfection.
I really love the BAR idea and the drink stirrers! The bar area can look so frumpy compared to the rest of the beautiful decorations, so what a great idea to dress it up too!!
I saw these flowers in the west elm store last week and thought they would be a perfect addition to a ceremony backdrop or for flower girl to drop (instead of rose petals). I absolutely love the BAR letters!
I’d love to use them to create a monogram on stained plywood for backdrop decor at my wedding.
Love these flowers! I would put one little one on each of my favor bags.
I LOVE the idea of paper flowers! I intend to make them to put inside of hanging lanterns for my ceremony aisle decor. Perhaps on the wedding programs as well.
I love these ideas. I’d use paper flowers for the bridesmaids to put in their hair.
I would love to use the paper flowers to make a welcome sign for my wedding this fall! It would probably be similar to your “BAR” sign. Cute ideas!
I love the idea of using paper flowers at a wedding! It’s something you could bring back to your own home for after everything is over! What a great way to remember such a special day!
Paper flowers open up worlds of possibility. I would for sure have Authentic Japanese flowers created for my wedding. At 13 in my Aunt’ flower shop If found a magazine with Japanese flowers. They are beautiful as bouquets, centerpieces & worn in your hair. I even have a cherry blossom tattoo which symbolizes womens strength & femininity.
I love paper flowers so much that I made my own for my wedding (which is this weekend eek! 3 days!). I feel like I’ve been surrounded by them for the past several months, and would LOVE some West Elm ones to decorate my home!!
I used Going Lovely for my wedding and I have nothing but amazing things to say about them. Their creativity, attention to detail and ability to make visions come to life never cease to amaze me! I wish I had the flower bar sign at my wedding :) beautiful job!
I would decorate our chuppa (wedding arch) with them. I think it would look beautiful and rustic-chic!
I would string them on fishing line and make an ombre flower backdrop (ceremony, photo booth, dessert table?) that eventually could become a dining room focal point.
I love all the paper flower ideas! I think it would be fun to string them and hang them up for a party or just use them as everyday decor.
I would like to have our new initials done like the bar sign for the doors to our reception!
I think it would be beautiful to use West Elm paper flowers to create a dense, ombre backdrop for the ceremony, sweetheart table, or dessert bar!
I would love to make paper floral crowns for all of my bridesmaids. They would look smashing, and they could keep them!
I would put them on my desk at work so I’d always have a little color there!
I’d love to use the flowers to make the initials that are in the second example. Would use them for our rehearsal dinner!
I am actually crafting 150+ paper flowers from maps to symbolize the five years my fiance and I have been long distance. The West Elm flowers would be a beautiful way to emphasize certain parts of the decor, like the table at which the two of us will sit.
I love the look of paper flowers! I plan to make them for our rehearsal dinner & for our wedding. For the rehearsal dinner, I want to have them in empty patron bottles as table arrangements. For the wedding, I want to have a hanging faux wall as the background of the DIY photo booth. I’m really excited!
I love these flowers and west elm! I would gather some assorted vases, place these lovely paper flowers in them, and hang them from the ceiling behind the bar, or as a backdrop from the ceremony. I would also dip the vases in paint to match the colour of the flower. xo
I’d have different size vases with yellow, blue and white flowers for a spring gathering. Along with eclectic table setting. Love mixing it up.
I would hang them in the altar space to create a background.
My children are grown and out of the house, so I’d like to redecorate their bedroom. The paper flowers would look so beautiful in a vase on a little table next to the reading chair.
Our wedding theme is “a pop of color”, and we are getting married in an art gallery (which is lacking color…). I would love to string some flowers from the ceiling and have them drop down onto the tables to create a colorful, unique centerpiece!
I love the look of florals hanging from branches or above a long dining table. I’d love to see that look created!
I love West Elm! My fiance and I are having a wedding in the woods. I wanted to have it in a meadow across the creek from where I grew up that is scattered in dogwood trees and flowers but because of the logistics (we would have to be hauling guests across the creek) we are having it in a closer field. I would love to use West Elm paper flowers to craft dogwood flowers just like the ones across the creek and hang them from the trees, it would be beautiful!
I adore paper flowers for party decor, and would love to see them made from different kinds of paper that have a particular meaning for the person or people being celebrated: maps, book pages, wallpaper, certain colors or patterns… so many gorgeous options!
I would have the words thank you strung up over the gift table.
I love West Elm! So creative and beautiful. If I won I would style the flowers into a “P” for my new last name!
I LOVE all of these ideas! Especially the bar idea by Going Lovely. I’m getting married on my fiance’s parents ranch, and they have a pool! I’m going to create a Styrofoam monogram to float in the pool, and would love to glue these paper flowers onto it.
I love the idea of using paper flowers and these colors are so great! Instead of wasting fresh flowers for a day, you could reuse these for sure. I would love to use the paper flowers for decorating the aisle and then take them home to as an extra memento.
I would love to use them on my backdrop for the ceremony! We will have a beautiful trellis that would be gorgeous with these!
I love West Elm’s paper flowers. They’re just so beautiful and absolutely versatile. I would use them as simple arrangements in assorted sized and colored vases. I would also string them together as a garland to decorate on just about anything!
I’m envisioning a sunroom with the wainscoting covered in bursts of West Elm paper flowers of spring colors!
I would keep them in a vase on the mantel as a breath of spring. I also think they would be great on napkin rings or for boutonnieres
I would get multiple uses out of the flowers. One idea would be incorporating them in my friend’s wedding that I’m planning and another idea would be using them to brighten up my apartment for springtime!
I plan to do a mixed media style for all of my wedding’s flowers. Combinations of paper, dried, felt and re-plantable succulents and air plants are the basic idea and I’d love to use some of West Elm’s!
I love paper flowers! I’d style them in a West Elm hive vase.
I have lots of curtains in my room, so I would use the flowers on the curtain holders to live them a bit of a spring look :)
I would love to see different colors in different milk or tea vases!
I’m getting married in a secret garden because I want to be surrounded by flowers. I’d like to use the paper flowers to make a ‘cape’ to wear over my wedding dress! I think it would look fantastic!
I love all of these! Unoriginal as it is, I would love to just make garlands out of the flowers and hang them in different rooms.
I would use them as a photo booth backdrop for the ceremony. How fun & absolutely beautifu!
I would want paper flowers in the likeness of peach tulips – and I would use them to decorate the aisle at my ceremony
katherinedibello (at) gmail (Dot) com
I am making a large “corkboard” out of wine corks. I think it would be lovely to tuck some of the paper succulents into this.
I would use the paper flowers for the DIY photo booth I am creating. I love the look of the peace and heart shapes, they could be an interesting and artistic backdrop. Cool ideas here!
I am in love with the paper flowers design. My wedding is themed green and damask and I know that your design will look great with my theme. I would love to win this giveawy.
I am getting married with an outdoor fireplace as the altar, and I would love to use the paper flowers to make a letter “H” for our new family name!
Love this!! Very cute!
I would love a paper flower decoration that said gifts!!!!!! Ever made paper pincones? These ideas are amazing. Kudos to the artists!
I plan on making paper flowers for all areas of my wedding! Decor, isle, center pieces, and bouquets! A mix of colors and patterns! I’ve seen the paper flowers in west elm and fell in love with them immediately! In fact I have the blue ones on my dining room table right now!
love west elm! we would dip these in gold glitter and hang the flowers vertically from our arch to use as a backrop for our wedding ceremony in october.
This are great! They are pretty but not fussy. I would love to use them as center pieces. I think a combination of high and low on different tables would be fun and interesting.
These are great! They are pretty but not fussy. I would love to use them as center pieces. I think a combination of high and low on different tables would be fun and interesting.
These are lovely! For my wedding cermony, I want mason jars filled with unique, paper flowers on each side of the aisle. I would use these flowers to bring a modern flare to traditional flowers at weddings.
i’ve been loving the paper floral backdrops for photographs.
I would make a few strings of garland with the flower to create a background for my polaroid guestbook!
I didn’t know west elm had paper flowers and I love them! I would incorporate them into our urban rustic themed table settings (think nature lovers who are urban planners!)
I really love the red roses and the wooden ombre vases. I am allergic to most flowers (and who wants to chance being a sneezy bride?) so i am incorperating paper and fabric flowers everywhere. i would love to use the red roses as a kind of centerpiece for our “alter”. we are doing a sand ceremony so the height of the flowers an vase could really draw the attention to it
I love these flowers! I especially love seeing them used to spell out things!
I would love to see a cascading backdrop curtain made out of them!
I would make a lovely floral crown out of them to wear on my big day!
I’m on a budget so I’d use it as a cost-efficient way for color and energy!
My fiancee and I are planning our August wedding and these would be the perfect touch!! I love the idea of using them for the bouquets & on the tables for a splash of color
My daughter is having an upcoming cherry blossom party and I’d love to use these to decorate and make a festive celebration. I love that these can be reused too.
these are so lovely. I would love to make a monogram like the one featured above, or even just place them in a vase in my entryway. so many lovely possibilities!
I loooove these flowers! I would love to win them! I am hosting my dear sisters baby shower this summer and I would definitely use them as bouquets, garlands and back drops!
oooh, i love the west elm paper flowers. we’re getting married in front of this adorable (yet simple) wishing well and these would be perfect to help dress the area.
I would use them to decorate the ballet mirror / bar in my nieces room They are so so pretty! I love the table runners made with the paper flowers BEAUTIFUL
I am starting a new business and my office is in dire need of some beautification. I love flowers & plants but cannot keep them alive. So, my office is drab. This would help brighten up the days.
I love these paper flowers! So beautiful!! My daughter is turning one in a few months. I would love to create a gorgeous backdrop with these paper flowers for her one year photoshoot. I’d also include the backdrop as decoration for her birthday.
I’d make some kind of “drop ceiling” for my porch area! Or maybe a drop centerpiece, either way suspend those flowers!
I like the idea of using paper flowers in/on an old, gaudy chandelier. Flowers that modernize and bring down the gaudiness a notch. I have been thinking of ways to do this with the old, ridiculous chandelier in my dining room. Not sure what type of flowers would work though…
I would have hanging picture frames (no glass or picture in the frame) and hot glue or wind the flowers around the frames. That way, areas of our reception venue would have amazing color, texture & depth, and edge with Frames peppered with West Elm flowers! Did I mention, I’d reuse those frames and display them in our house after the wedding :)
I’d love these flowers to put in my boring office. There’s nothing in here- need to class it up!
I stumbled upon this entry while doing research for bridal shower decor. The paper flowers speak to me and the bride. I can imagine her eyes light up when she sees the gorgeous paper flowers adorn her bridal shower dessert mantel, right next to her must-have red velvet bundt cakes!
I literally love love the designs! I actually am in the process of making paper flowers for my wedding that will be strictly paper and lace flowers, on Sept 7, 2013! I would love to add the Quince in peach, and the Hellebore in light pink!! :)
I would love to use these flowers to decorate my future wedding. I would love to find out how to make them! So pretty.
I would really love to have paperflowers in my wedding arrangements…makes them easy to prepare ahead and to keep!
I’d flower up in large letters our initials B and E. I’d also love to use them as centerpieces.
I’m making paper flowers for my wedding bouquet and center pieces. I would love to use the West Elm Flowers as a backdrop for our bar area that will be set up with galvanized tubs and chalkboards.
Thank you!
I am getting married September 2013 in Orlando, FL at a large estate. I would love to use the flowers to decorate the arch I am getting married under. The arch will be lighly draped with sheer linens and the flowers will be centered at the top in between the opening as well as used to anchor the drapes and create the romantic look.
I would probably make giant, thick garlands of them to hang around miscellaneous parts of my wedding (and then use them to decorate my house after the wedding!).
I think I’d wire them into the bushes around our reception venue’s property… The wedding is in early Spring, so it’s a gamble as to weather anything will bloom!
I would use them for my wedding to decorate cocktail tables.
I would totally make a flower garland to hang anywhere and everywhere! I bet these flowers would look gorgeous as a DIY chandelier, too! (I do hope you do a DIY project on a chandelier!)
I would use them to decorate my home in vases and on a vine to decorate my spare bedroom. They are so gorgeous!:)
I LOVE paper flowers, especially ones that look soft, whimsical and romantic (as opposed to the bright, playful ones). I would love to have long vines of paper flowers in neutral tones–whites, creams, tans, blush, mauve–and string them across the ceiling, possibly with the addition of small lights.
Beautiful! Love the West Elm wreaths, and the styling. I’d love to string them up for a garland to drape on my headboard!
Considering that paper flowers never wilt, I would use them to turn my home into a work of art. It will allow me the opportunity to be creative and considering that I’m an artist, creativity comes easy to me.
This is exactly what I’m looking for. Real flowers cost so much and die instantly! We are getting married this October. I want to do my own decor and these would be perfect to design into our logo that we are painting on wood planks to eventually hang in our home!
