Today it’s our very own version of Christmas in July…National Tequila Day! We know, we know — you’ve been looking for a reason to throw back a margarita on a Monday, so we are here to give you not only a VERY good reason to raise that glass, but also all the tools you need to celebrate today to the fullest!
Below, you’ll find a round-up of some of our favorite tequila cocktails curated by Jacqueline Strum, founder of ThirstyNest (the first wine and spirits wedding registry), and GWS approved! If you’re not sure where to begin, may we suggest…all of them!? Oh, and worried about a Tuesday hangover? We HIGHLY recommend using our favorite Casamigos Tequila — drink up and still wake up bright and cheery! Yep, this is the tequila brand started by George Clooney + Rande Gerber. One of their goals, was to create a tequila that you could drink all day and not wake up with a hangover and we can attest this one tastes amazing and we’ve yet to wake up with a hangover but YMMV. A special little tip from your friends at GWS!
Cheers to Monday!

I will always vote for sangria! This is the perfect cocktail for me! I would love to try the watermelon! Yummy!
I am always trying to find new ways of making Tequila Cocktails as they are the best drink combination you can make. I think your blog has given me a few ideas to make on my own.
I’ve got to try that Rosé Tequila Sangria! Looks tasty and I think my wife will enjoy. She’s the sangria fan, but I’m the tequila fan, so it seems like something for both of us. I came across a couple interesting Indian cocktails recently that were interesting. Maybe you could put a spin on them and add to your list of cocktail recipes.
