The inspiration for today’s gorgeous garden editorial came almost exclusively from that beautiful 1950’s pink gown! A pretty place to start design brainstorming, don’t you think? We love the idea of a non-traditional color for a wedding dress, and it doesn’t get much better than blush pink and ruffles in our opinion. Once it was decided that the dress would be the focal point of the shoot, photographer Jenny Haas and Nikki at Linger Flowers worked on the little details that would tie it all together. Wegerzyn Gardens in Dayton, Ohio provided the dreamy backdrop, ripe for styling with a bright, inviting color palette and whimsical, vintage-inspired details. We just love the fresh, updated take on a garden setting that transpired. Way to go, team!
Such a prefect bouquet! Loving all those punchy hues.
And love that Tifani + Michael – a gorgeous in-love couple – were the models for this one! :)
Seriously, that blush gown is a total dream! Any brides-to-be wearing pink come their wedding day?
How pretty is that bold statement necklace? The perfect way to update a vintage dress. A few of of our current fave statement pieces include Modcloth’s Guest A-List Necklace, Ruche’s Royal Affair Necklace, and just about every last find from Baublebar!
Big thanks to the talented Ohio-based team below for sharing their ideas for a nouveau garden wedding with us today!
