Today I’m excited to announce a brand new series coming to GWS next week! We’ve partnered with one of our favorite fashion bloggers, Chriselle from The Chriselle Factor, to create Down the Aisle with Chriselle. Down the Aisle with Chriselle is an 8 part series that gives Chriselle’s fans and GWS readers a peak behind the scenes as Chriselle plans her wedding. Each week we’ll feature a new post in the series that focuses on a key wedding planning decision, includes a video of Chriselle discussing the decision with an industry expert and is followed by additional decision making + planning advice from GWS. We’ll cover everything from where to start when you first get engaged, styling your engagement photos, working with a wedding planner, finding the perfect dress and so much more! We’ll be sharing our first episode next week and we hope you love this fun collaboration!
If you’re not yet familiar with Chriselle, she works as a stylist by day and runs her popular fashion blog + YouTube channel by night. I highly recommend checking both out, you’ll find some great tips from her!
Our first episode will be all about where to start when you first get engaged. We’ve already filmed the episode, but in my post I’m going to be answering some questions from our brides-to-be to go along with the video. So, those of you who are recently engaged – what questions do you have that you’d love for me to answer? Leave them in the comments and I’ll try to address as many of them as is possible. Be sure to head over and check out Chriselle’s blog and learn a bit about her style. We are excited to help share the wedding planning adventures of a stylist!
Have a great weekend and see you back next week! xo Jen
How does wedding dress trying-on work? Do they usually allow you a maximum number of dresses to try? If you like a dress at one boutique, but are planning on going to a few other boutiques after, can you put a hold on that dress? Any advice is helpful. Thanks!
Where is that dress with the lace sleeves from? It’s divine!
This dress is almost exactly what I’m looking for. I, too, MUST know where this dress if from… please!
Nice blog post. Looking forward to sharing the new series with my potential brides.
What shop or website did that wedding dress come from?
To me the dress looks like “Katherine”, from Monique Lhuillier. Someone please correct me if that’s wrong.
Your wedding gown is looking perfect, and it suits you. You’re looking a princess in this gown. Can you tell me Which web site dress come from? because I also purchase my sister wedding gown from TideBuy which gives me a very low price.
