Friday Favors – July 9th

wedding chicks tees and project wedding

Wow, this week went fast here on Green Wedding Shoes! So much fun stuff going on this month. I’d also like to take a moment and welcome two new amazing sponsors to Green Wedding Shoes:

The Wedding Chicks Boutique seriously has the cutest wedding tanks, tee’s and totes. You can even select your names and what colors you want, so you can create your perfect tees and totes. Super cute for bridesmaids gifts, favors, or a gift for the bride to wear on her wedding weekend! And there is more, the lovely girls over there are offering 30% off your order for all GWS readers! Just enter the code GWS at checkout. Thanks ladies for creating some awesome designs.

Project Wedding – Project Wedding has lots of great wedding resources and info, but my favorite section on their site is the DIY section. They have some of the most creative and fun ideas – and all are pretty easy to do! Yep, that cake, fabric flower, and soda bar can all be found on their site. Also, they are running a Budget Savvy Bride Contest right now and I’m honored to be one of the judges along side of friends Emily from Once Wed and Amanda from Ruffled. Check out all the details here. You have until July 19th to enter.

Also, Green Wedding Shoes has been nominated as the “Best Eco-Friendly Wedding Blog” by The Wedding Channel. I’d love it if you took a minute – it’s really easy, no need to register or anything – and voted for Green Wedding Shoes here.

Happy weekend! Hope you have something fun planned. Hopefully LA will see some sun this weekend, it’s been oddly gloomy and cold this week which I’m not a fan of. :)

  1. thanks so much for the mention! WC LOVES GWS. (:

  2. The Budget Savvy Bride Contest will be so fun to be a judge!! Woo Hoo! Have a great weekend and I hope the June gloom goes away!

  3. I am making those chiffon flowers to match my chiffon dress! Those plus some silk flowers and I’ll have a totally green, totally ever-lasting wedding bouquet I can keep forever! (Also making more for the bridesmaids’ wrist corsages- just sew onto a ribbon!)

  4. Those sponsors are all great with some fabulous “go green” wedding ideas. I like the DIY ideas also. The soda bar sounds interesting.
