We know that lots of you are probably finalizing the details of your winter wedding, so we thought this gorgeous shoot, sent over by a talented group of New Zealand based wedding artists, would be a fun feature for this afternoon. Burgundy is such a perfect hue for winter weddings + celebrations, and this team (led by photographer, Courtney Horwood + the stylists at The Heirloom) definitely incorporated it in all the right ways!
L’Orangerie, a local NZ wedding venue, was the perfect location for this ethereal editorial with its bare trees + beautiful purple stained glass details. And we’re loving the stunning dresses from A La Robe; so, so romantic + perfect for a wintertime wedding! Don’t you agree?
Such a pretty, richly-hued bouquet by Honeysuckle Rose!
And we’re totally crushing on this venue, big time!
The play on dark + light tones gave the tablescape tons of visual interest! And we’re really digging the glossy, black flatware the team sourced. So unique…
We think this bridal cap veil would be so perfect for cold-weather weddings!
Did any of these pretty winter design concepts inspire you or spark some fun ideas for your upcoming wedding? We’d love to hear! Thanks to the talented team of creatives below for sharing their beautiful work with us today!

Hm very different! Love her dress the most
Being from New Zealand and wanting a winter wedding with a burgundy theme, this blog was incredible! I am going to call the venue tomorrow and book it, because this is exactly the place my fiancé and I are looking for. Squeeeeee!
