Down the Aisle with Chriselle: Planning + Design

Down the Aisle Planning + Design

This week on Down the Aisle with Chriselle we’re talking about the planning + the design and all the small details that make your day YOUR day! Chriselle is meeting with her wedding planner Jeannie Savage of Details Details and her florist Shawna Yamamoto. Let’s see what fun + glam details they are dreaming up! :)

Since many brides want help from experts on certain details, I thought it would be fun and helpful to highlight a few super rad companies that can make your dream day even more unique! If you have a wedding planner, they can help you find companies like these, but if not, we are sharing some of the secrets today! :)

Let’s start with your big rentals: tables, chairs + rugs, because let’s face it…..not many people have access to enough stylish pieces to design a full wedding. I love both Archive Vintage Rentals (serving the entire US) and Yeah!Rentals (Los Angeles based but will travel anywhere) for their unique + fun pieces.

If you are looking for pieces a bit more mod in style, check out Yeah!Rentals. For great vintage finds, Archive Vintage Rentals is your spot. Another great vintage company here in socal is Found Vintage Rentals (not pictured).

Now that you have your tables, let’s talk tableware. My favorite place to find the most unique pieces for your table is is Casa de Perrin – they offer rentals for your table including plates, glasses, flatware, vases and more.

Now that your tables are set, let’s talk about a fun reception activity – the photobooth! Such a fun activity for your guests (every party or wedding I attend with a photobooth, that is always the popular spot)! I love Smilebooth and the fun backgrounds they offer. If you are looking for a creative way to get your guests to interact and get into a more festive mood, this sure seems to do the trick. At first guests may be apprehensive, but once a few people begin to use it and the music is playing, you’ll likely find a line forming because everyone wants to be a part of the act!  The bonus for you is that you get unique and creative shots of your guests as a keepsake.

What fun special elements will you be including in your day? I’d love to hear in the comments! And next week on Down the Aisle with Chriselle we are talking wedding dresses! Chriselle will be trying on dresses and we’ll see what dress she falls in love with – can’t wait! :)
