Our Advice To Those Planning Now

Sarah: Decide exactly what you want to do for your wedding and make a plan for when you want to finish things by. I made a monthly schedule for when I wanted to complete all of my diy-ing. This really helped me get everything I wanted to get done without too much stress.
Also the biggest thing was to remember when everything gets over whelming you can always look at your plan and move things around so you can de-stress for a month or until your ready to rock again.

Leigh: Sarah did most of the leg work planning and crafting as she had a vision and I wanted to help her achieve that. As a designer I started out with building a nice palette of colors that would work for the day and designed all of the print. This a great way to establish the style you’re going for and you will find that a lot of the decor and details will evolve from this. Think about color, theme, location and how it will all tie together and then go out and find some inspiration and get crafting.
