The inspiration for this styled shoot started in Jess of Linen, Lace, & Love‘s kitchen. Jess has a cute dish towel with a list of ingredients that reads, “milk, eggs, bread, love, laughter.” Also, she made her husband a sign in their kitchen that quotes the song Home by Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, “Home is wherever I’m with you.” Both of those initially inspired the team to play around with the theme of “You are My Home.” I love the bright colors and geometric angles they used in their design elements – perfect for a wedding and super on trend! Home isn’t a place, it’s a person, and a wedding is the most beautiful celebration of when your heart finally finds its home and we were continually inspired by that idea.
The “Mr.” and “Mrs.” signs were inspired by the saying, “Home is where the heart is.”
