If the title of today’s gorgeous real wedding doesn’t tip you off that it’s going to be unique, the photos by Weddings by Nicola & Glen surely will! Ella + Roman hosted such a fun festival-inspired wedding in the Cotswolds – well, Wildwood Bluebell in England to be exact – and the eclectic, unusual and incredibly beautiful vibe is definitely winning us over! Ella tells us, The wedding was a mash up of all our life and travels. It was daring and brave, highly stressful at times, but totally worth it! It was a festival/Russian/circus theme. Roman is Russian and I love festivals.
Designed by Pocketful of Dreams, with gorgeous florals by Westwood Design, we are in love with the stunning willow ceremony arch, featuring pampas grass + vibrant florals and the completely amazing reception teepee which housed communal style dining and a fun vodka tasting bar! You just have to see it for yourself…
Ella wore a beautiful dress from Cocoa Couture and her bridesmaids looked lovely in neutral knee-length frocks.
The very emotional and beautiful ceremony, all started off by our chocolate lab leading me down the aisle. The band Groove Instinct, the after party in the woods….there’s too many!
Loving E + R’s sweet ceremony exit!
Ella goes on to say, I lived in Morocco for a while just before meeting Roman so it was a special place for me as it lead to him. The outdoor drinks reception incorporated a Morrocan feel with rugs and lanterns crossed with a proper English garden party in a sunny English setting.
What a magical reception space! We love the vibrant blooms, rustic crates + intimate feel.
Don’t stress too much and enjoy every minute. No matter what happens it will all come together in the end and be wonderful!
