The girl is on fire, folks — and we can’t look away. If you happen to think the words “orange” or “coral” or “fluorescent” don’t belong in the same category as “wedding dress,” then you must’ve never heard of the genius that is Elizabeth Dye! She designed an ethereal gown to ignite the night and called it Wildfire. It comes in ivory, yes, but it also comes in flame. And it was that flame which caught the eye of Marisa at Revel Petals — and she quickly moved toward its heat:
We were incredibly inspired by Elizabeth Dye’s Wildfire gown! So, we built an artful spring shoot to accent this amazing neon wedding dress. The gown is both utterly romantic, with its many-layered skirt made perfectly for twirling, and edgy, with its shoulder and neckline. One can imagine this dreamy wedding for an alt-bride seeking a unique affair in a world of white dresses.
With the planning expertise of Peachy Keen and the camera skills of Brittany Rossman, the team gathered at The Bindery Event Space in McMinnville, Oregon to bring the heat.
We happen to think this flame might just catch fire — let’s see if you agree?
How stunning is this? We’re digging the ceremony backdrop — an installation of floating flowers fastened across tulle, calling on texture and lines to create movement.
Burnin’ Up
And here she is: the effervescent Elizabeth Dye Wildfire gown! Are you re-thinking neon right about now??
Revel Petals chose spring blooms in a palette of soft yellows, lavenders, and peaches with chartreuse green pops to match the dress in both romance and edge.
Future Looks Bright
Kelly Searle gave the bride a bright and smoldering look to complement the fiery dress.
