Now, here’s something we’ve never heard of (and that’s saying something): this wedding took place in the ruins of an abandoned silk factory! We’re pretty taken with the magical little find in Lebanon’s capital. The couple, Bruna + Ibrahim, weren’t set on a traditional venue so they turned to Lea at A Whole Lotta Love and the hunt was on:
Our challenge was to find a unique + unconventional location for this beautiful couple. They wanted to stay away from the common wedding venues and to find something new to make their own. We found this abandoned silk factory in the suburbs Beirut. It was an empty canvas…virgin ruins for us to play with yet full of history and charm. For the decor + styling, we did our best to work around the ruins, wanting to blend in and not to overtake the charm of the venue itself.Â
You’re about to find out how they did JUST that, with stunning photos from Firas Chehabeddine Photography!
The Jaw-Dropping Dress
WOW, right?! Bruna wore a custom Hassan Idriss gown with a literal cloud to trail her!
Take a closer look at that bouquet! It’s actually a metallic + pearl jewelry bouquet handcrafted by Alexandra Hakim Jewelry.
Priyanka who??
Ruins Reborn for a Whimsical Ceremony
A Whole Lotta Love decided to use banana leaves for decor as the factory is surrounded by fields of banana trees. For the aisle, they lined vintage rugs to make it cozier but not too fancy—very bohemian and elegant.
So incredible!
Reception Under the Stars
Such an incredible view!
All the absolutely unreal floral designs from the event were the handiwork of Casa Del Flora!
Loving how the textures and color play off the natural surroundings.

Gorgeous!
We love this: Ibrahim entered to We Will Rock You by Queen then joined his band and serenaded his wife with Shallow ala Bradley Cooper!
And see it all in film by Firas Chehabeddine Photography!
All the whimsy, all the romance—we’re such fans! Congrats to the happy couple!
