Pink + gold is a wedding color combo that will never get old, right? It’s just so pretty, whimsical + FUN! We’re so glad Emily + Eric agree and decided to use that palette for their January Dallas wedding, because these two did it right for sure! The pink-infused arrangements + bouquets by Bows & Arrows were total perfection, Sweet Pea Events crafted some serious loveliness for the reception, and Emily rocked the sweetest pink heels from Anthropologie. E + E’s day is truly an inspiration for other couples who want to use this playful palette, too! Let’s hear a bit more about it all Emily:
When Eric and I first started talking about what we wanted for our wedding, we both agreed that first and foremost we wanted to create a joyful and inviting atmosphere where we could laugh, dance and celebrate with our closest family and friends. Neither Eric nor I are very formal and we knew we wanted a lighthearted, fun and flirty wedding. The gorgeous floral arrangements (which included pops of blue thistle per the groom’s request that everything not be pink) throughout the venue and glittery, gold accents really set the stage for the night. The small touches of DIY pieces here and there added some personal touches and sweet snapshots into our world.
Thanks so much to Sara & Rocky Photography for the beautiful images + big congrats to Emily + Eric!
Our most memorable moment of our wedding day was without a doubt the first look. The moment was pure joy, it’s was so peaceful and natural. For a sweet moment, it’s like all of the rushing subsided and it was just us. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect moment before all of the excitement of the wedding ceremony and reception. Having just a couple minutes to embrace each other made the rest of the day that much more special!

We’re swooning over those sparkly gold table numbers, runners + floral vessels that decorated the reception! And scroll down just a bit further to see the super fun cake table backdrop! In LOVE!
My advice for couples planning their wedding is to not lose sight of the end goal. Eric and I found ourselves (mostly me) talking only about the wedding plans. Our engagement was less than 6 months and our world pretty quickly became about the wedding. It took a conscious effort to make sure we were taking time to ourselves outside of the wedding planning. We wanted to ensure our focus remained on our relationship, not the color of the table linens or the guest list. So love on your fiancé and remember that underneath all of the planning, it’s the two of you.

Beautiful! Love all the shades of pink.
I love everything about this wedding! The gold is my current obsession and with pink, it is over the top adorable.
I am beyond obsessed with those Shutz pumps from Anthropologie. I cannot find them anywhere and would love to wear them on my wedding day. If this bride is a size 7 and as any interest in selling her shoes my email is: [email protected]
Beautiful wedding details.
So pretty, I love the invitation color. Hickory Street makes a great backdrop for a wedding.
I love the invitations! any way to find out who designed them?
