Imagine, if you will, that surrealist painter Salvador Dali and eccentric filmmaker Wes Anderson were time traveling best friends. And they threw you a lavish dinner party. In a greenhouse.
That was the absolutely one-of-a-kind vision behind Olivia + Michael’s intimate Portland, Oregon wedding. They filled venue blockhouse at Pomarius Nursery with their closest family and friends, tied the knot amongst the greenery, and celebrated with an opulent, old-world feast full of color, romance, and surreal details.
The unforgettable day was a collaboration with planners from Arche Creative, and photographer Andreia Claro went above and beyond, capturing the nostalgic spirit of Olivia + Michael’s singular celebration on digital, 35mm film, Polaroids and Super 8mm video.
Flowers by Novella Theory embraced a Dali-esque vibe with perfectly mismatched texture and natural dangling details.
Bride Olivia said she totally surprised herself with how much she loved including a veil in her wedding day look. Her elegant makeup look and romantic curls were the work of Annie Chow Bridal.

Our ceremony was performed by one of our closest friends and was very unique to us, we laughed all through it.

When you know you know! Olivia was sure she wanted something simple and found the gorgeous sweetheart bodice Amandine gown by Vera Wang on her very first try! We love the versatility of a straps-or-strapless option!
