We’d love to add members of our GWS community to our team, so you should be familiar with the GWS voice + brand and have a keen awareness of trends in the wedding, travel, fashion, and home verticals.
Production Artist
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

- A keen eye for fashion + trends for both wedding and daily fashion
- Passion + enthusiasm to bring to our weekly brainstorming meetings
Responsibilities
- Take the photos submitted and put them into WordPress in an order that makes sense. Also able to determine which photos should be included and which aren’t needed to tell an engaging story for the reader. Sometimes we receive 100 photos for a wedding, so need to have the ability to curate down to the 30-40 best photos to tell the story – and understand which photos are needed.
- Help curate items for roundup posts (ie, if we are putting together a post about the best wedding earrings, helping to source the products we showcase)
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions
- Optimize images and image metadata
- Maintain awareness of wedding trends to inform suggested content ideas during weekly standups
Required Skills
- Interest, passion, and familiarity with the wedding industry
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop (for image optimization) + Canva
- Familiarity with WordPress
- Time management
- Collaborative mindset and ability to maintain motivation when working remotely
- Stellar communication skills and responsiveness

This is a remote position. We are looking for this candidate to be available to work 10-15 hours a week. We are looking to start this role asap. Accepting applications until 7/28/22.
