Imagine driving over a thousand miles, to a site you’ve never seen before, to exchange your vows in the lush rainforest with just a handful of friends in tow. Well that’s exactly what Jessi + Cody did when they eloped at Wahclella Falls near Columbia River Gorge in Mt. Hood, Oregon! I’m so in love with Jessi’s sweet, boho look – comprised of a gorgeous Sarah Seven gown + a super lovely daisy and rose floral crown. And even more than that, I love the reasons behind why they chose to elope:
The inspiration for doing our wedding this way was a combination of loving adventure and outdoors, making our day stress free, low key, personal and above all, an experience that let us truly enjoy each other and focus on the connection we have and the big step we were making. We also had our best friends there to watch and one of our very best friends officiate the ceremony.
Such an amazingly beautiful location! Thank you so much to Carl Zoch for the stunning photography and big congrats to Jessi + Cody on a day that was exactly what they wanted!
Isn’t this a fun first look?!
Our entire wedding day was enjoyable. Nothing went wrong and with the very little planning and organizing, we were very happy to have everything fall into place so well. However the most memorable moment for us had to be the celebration afterward with locally brewed beer, Dom Perignon and Doritos – we like to keep it classy but never too serious!
My advice for anyone who is planning an elopement in the future would be to make sure you spend enough time in the beautiful place you decide to get married in. I would have loved to stay longer in Hood River because it forever becomes a special spot for you and your husband... also making sure to contact a local florist and know the marriage laws are good things to keep in mind!

Wow, this is so unique and the bride is absolutely gorgeous! Love her whole look! Beautiful location!
I have lived in Texas my entire life, and since I have been obsessed with Oregon since I was a very small child, I have dreams of moving there in the next five years or so!! I absolutely love everything about this wedding, but especially where it was photographed, her gorgeous gown by one of my favorite designers (Sarah Seven), her lovely flower crown, her exquisite necklaces, and lastly, I truly can’t get enough of her bouquet of peonies, which are my very favorite flower, even though I have never had a bouquet of them because here in Texas they are very expensive!!! Plus, the bride Jessi is beautiful! I wish this couple nothing but the very best and a lifetime together of joy, safe adventure, and happy travels!!! <3
what a beautiful and completely amazing location to elope. falling in love with the eloping in mountains trend more and more!
Oh my goodness… such a beautiful elopement wedding!
Love this wedding! We want to elope here… When is the date of this? Weather good?
Such a beautiful elopement! I’ll also be getting married in a rainforest and wearing a Sarah Seven dress! I’m still trying to find a belt/sash to go with it. I love yours! Can you tell me the designer and name of it? Thanks!
Beautiful couple and beautiful dress, do you know where she purchased it from? I am getting married and I just fell in love with her dress
It’s a Sarah Seven dress. Just below the last photo in each post is a list of links to vendors and products featured to help brides create their own look.
Happy planning!
stunning! Were they able to just show up and get married or do you have to reserve something?
this is so cute!!
My boyfriend and I have been together just over 4 years and have fallen in love with the idea of eloping in Oregon! We had a vision and seeing this gallery is everything we imagined! But when it comes to eloping we have no idea of pricing, marriage laws in Oregon, was this a package elopement? Sorry for all the questions, would just love some advice and ideas to get something like this! Thank you!
Sooooo magical. Wooow
