Your wedding day is sure to be one of the happiest days of your life, so why not tie the knot at the happiest place on earth, Walt Disney World?! Crystal + Colin are Vancouver-based animators who have made four trips to Disney World together during their two years as a couple. Needless to say, they loved the playful vibe of this very special place, that symbolizes love, family and new beginnings. Which meant choosing it as the backdrop for their I Dos was naturally an easy decision.
If your dream wedding includes exchanging your vows with Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings in a magical Walt Disney World celebration (that would probably make quite a few of your guests very happy campers, too), read on to hear a few more details + see a fun peek into Crystal + Colin’s ultra-sweet day!
Crystal + Colin’s ceremony was held at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion. Guests arrive at the nondenominational wedding chapel via a charming footbridge lined with romantic archways, surrounded by spectacular views of Seven Seas Lagoon. Brides can choose to arrive at the ceremony in Cinderella’s Coach or an antique automobile. Fun!! Oh, and behind the altar, a leaded arched window perfectly frames a view of Cinderella Castle. Obvi a big deal for true Disney fans!
We have to say our personal favorite thing about C + C’s delightful ceremony was the fun + colorful confetti blast recessional! Just how fun are these captures by Shipra Panosian Photography?!
Post ceremony, their guests strolled along the old-fashioned boardwalk (reminiscent of the seaside resorts of Coney Island and Atlantic City circa 1900) before making their way to the reception at Sea Breeze Point at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. There are tons of great spots along the boardwalk to snag the perfect photo-op and popping into the boardwalk’s antique photo booth is definitely a total must!
