Heather + Kyle were married at Kyle’s grandfathers gorgeous Arizona home. The home holds so many special memories for the couple + family, so it was the perfect spot for them to get married – and wait until you see the backyard! So perfect for a wedding. :) Heather loves anything vintage and wanted their wedding day to be a perfect mix of vintage + glam. She was lucky that Kyle’s sister is Constance Curtis – a talented wedding planner + designer – who helped the couple bring their vison to life. Big thanks also to Aaron Young Photography for the photos and congrats to Heather + Kyle!
Hands down the most memorable moment of our day was the first look. We were a little apprehensive to do the first look because we didn’t want to take away the “wow” factor from seeing each other for the first time down the aisle, but we both feel as though it didn’t at all. It was so romantic and special to hug each other and talk about what was just going to happen. A major bonus was of getting some of the pictures out of the way before our ceremony. We had more time with our photographer, which meant more photos to document the most special day in our lives. Plus, I was a super emotional bride so I was able to get SOME of my crying out before the ceremony!
How adorable are the kids!!? Love the photo below of them trying to take a peek at the ceremony. :)

I know everyone says this, but savor every moment. Enjoy every aspect of your wedding, because it goes by so fast. Hire a wedding planner or recruit friends and family to help you. It will relieve so much stress the day of your wedding so you can sit back and enjoy all that is going on around you. Also, don’t sweat the small stuff! There are so many small aspects to every wedding that we get obsessed with and sometimes it can stress us out to the point that we forget what the day is really about. I personally was very indecisive and I second-guessed everything-especially at first-but towards the end I realized that as long as I am married to the man I love, everything else was perfect!
