You know we love a good Ace Hotel wedding, so when we heard Miran + Brian tied the knot there, we were all about it. And after a quick glance through the gorgeous images from Erin Hearts Court, we knew M + D’s super fun vintage-bohemian celebration most certainly wouldn’t disappoint! Their day was filled with lots of eclectic details – DIY dream catchers, colorful wildflower centerpieces, a stunning vintage wedding dress, and so much more! Since you’re about to see all of the loveliness for yourselves, we’ll just let Miran share a quick quote about their inspiration, then get right to the incredible photos!
Our inspiration was really an accumulation of all things we love and a bit of who we are. I am Egyptian while Brian is American so it came quite natural for us to do “Middle Eastern” Desert meets “Western Desert” as the overall theme.
Love it you guys! Big time congrats! :)
Miran’s BHLDN hairpiece was the perfect complement for her stunning vintage Sue Wong gown!
Miran: My most memorable moment was at the end of the night when Brian came fist pumping on the dance floor (He doesn’t dance) soaking wet from being in the pool and wearing in only his vest and pants. It ended an amazing night perfectly.
Brian: One of my most memorable moments from the wedding came early on in the day when we took some photos before the ceremony. That was the first time I was allowed to see Miran in her dress. The photographers set it up so we would first see each other in an outdoor hallway at the hotel. Our first glimpse was joined by several random drunk on lookers peering at us from 2nd floor balconies. It added a bit of fun and humor to that candid special moment!
We LOVE bridesmaids in sparkles!
Processional: In Spite of Ourselves – John Prine
Recessional: In Spite of Ourselves cont. – John Prine
First Dance: Since I met you Baby – Black Joe Lewis + The Honeybears
Gold-dipped feathers for the win!
And you know it’s a good party when…
Plan your wedding as one amazing party for all to enjoy more than all the little details involved and it will be successful. It is rare to get all the people you love on one night to celebrate and be happy so strive for that and take it all in!
