Long before their absolute dream of a tropical boho wedding, Sam + Samantha met in passing at a Mac DeMarco show. Three weeks later (and nearly three thousand miles away), they literally walked into one another on the streets of San Francisco. They recognized each other right away and from that point forward, were pretty much inseparable. Talk about a cute meet story! (Pay attention, Hollywood.) Fast forward to the wedding day…and the one thing S + S knew they wanted:
One thing we both love doing more then anything else is traveling and spending time outdoors. We knew we wanted to get married outdoors but had a hard time finding the right spot. After looking around for a bit, we wound up finding Samsara Gardens: the coolest, most intimate tropical garden venue in Miami. It really reminded us of our time spent in Hawaii (one of the very first trips we went on as a couple), yet it was much closer to home/easier for our guests.
The couple called on Christy V & Co to help plan the day and Mari Sabra Photography to capture it all! Let’s have a look:
Boho Bride Style
Samantha donned a sleek off-the-shoulder gown by Daughters of Simone from Lighthouse Bridal paired with relaxed wavy locks by Blond Studio and a bronzed glow by Makeup Omg By Lee. If this isn’t a photo of perfection, we don’t know what is!
The florals by Simple Florals were simply to die for. Loving the sage + coral combo — and isn’t Samantha just a work of art?!
The Vows
Picking one favorite memory from the entire day is hard because it really was the best day ever (cliche but true!). But if we had to pick one, we would say our private vows. Reading our vows privately was so special. It was one of the moments during the wedding where time slowed down just a bit and we really got to take in everything, just the two of us.
Sam led the way in Perry Ellis and a killer floral tie. (By the way, file this away under “groomsmen photo ideas”!)

S + S adore their pups but knew they wouldn’t travel well for the big day. Instead, Floki + Finn made an appearance via the signature cocktails!
We absolutely love the tones of this tablescape! The textures and from the wooden chargers and copper flatware by The Mix Dish are an upscale-rustic dream.

Hire a planner!! Seriously....it was probably one of the best decisions we made during the whole planning process. During the actual day of the wedding, we didn't worry about a thing. We got to be totally present and enjoy the whole thing — which, isn't that the point?!
